Stephanie D. Hon is a divorce and family law lawyer. She handles all aspects of California family law, including dissolution, paternity, custody, post-judgment enforcement and modification, and domestic violence cases. She has significant experience working with clients throughout their matter and the difficult situations which often arise, listening to their needs, and advising clients as to their best options and course of action in their matters.
Stephanie is an experienced trial lawyer, having tried numerous multi-day divorce, custody, post-judgment modification, support, domestic violence, and property division trials. Although Stephanie has experience in trial and considers herself a trial lawyer, she believes it is this experience that allows her to effectively settle many cases outside of trial. If a lawyer does not have the confidence to go to trial and represent their client’s interest in Court, it is not likely they will be able to obtain favorable and fair results outside of the Courtroom.
Stephanie has practiced in Alameda and Contra Costa Counties since 2008, and has focused 100% of her practice on family law. She is an active member of the California State Bar, Alameda County Bar Association, and has served on the Board of Directors for the Eastern Alameda County Bar Association until just recently. Stephanie has been nominated by her peers and listed on the Northern California Super Lawyers list for 2013 and 2014.
Stephanie was raised in the Bay Area. She left to attend college at U.C. Santa Cruz and law school at Western State University College of Law. Stephanie now resides in the Bay Area with her husband and two children.
