TRO violation
Difficult for him to respond correctly because he didn't really understand what I was asking.
Good morning. I sincerely apologize that I was unable to understanding what you were asking. I sincerely apologize for not giving you a response/answer that you were looking for. I do the best that I can to the best of my ability to provide an answer or answers or response or responses to each and every Avvo post/question that is posted on Avvo. Neglect and arrogance
Tristan has positioned himself as a family law practitioner.....for me was verbally insulting and condescending. His negligence to advise me of a deadline and verbal communication was non existing. He was so sloppy he accidentally sent me other client files. Yikes
Dear Alicia. I am an excellent licensed California Family Law Attorney. I will not infringe upon the duty of confidentiality. I will not infringe upon the attorney-client privilege. However, your contention that I was verbally condescending and insulting is not supported by the evidence. In addition, your contention that I was negligent to advise of you a deadline and verbal communication was (and is) also not supported by the evidence. Moreover, your contention that I was sloppy is not supported by the evidence. However, what is supported by the evidence was (and is) your continuous, inexplicable failure and inability to comply with, follow, etc. clear, direct, instructions, directions, etc. that I provided you with to work on and complete certain tasks that was or were required to be completed by you so that I could do my job. In addition, what is supported by the evidence is your sloppiness when it came to properly filling out and completing documents that I provided to you. On multiple occasions, I would show where you made omissions, errors, etc., and I would instruct as to where to indicate certain things, how to fill out and complete certain documents, so on and so forth. And yet, you would continuously make the same omissions, errors, etc. over and over and over again to my dismay. In addition, I would have to continuously beg you, plead with you, implore you, etc. to get things done right, properly, to get things done period, etc. I should not have to do that, and I should not have had to chase you around so that you could do the things that you needed to do, that you were instructed to do, etc. However, that is what ended up occurring, which again is supported by the evidence. In terms of emailing you another client's document, I apologized to you for my inadvertent error, and upon my discovery of my inadvertent error an extremely short time later, I informed you to please disregard because I had attached the incorrect document to provide to you. You would email me incorrect, incomplete attachments as well. At the end of the day, when it is all said and done, the termination of our professional attorney-client relationship occurred because you failed (repeatedly and continuously) to do what you were supposed to do, which impeded my ability to do what I was hired to do to provide you with legal representation concerning your family law case.

Be Careful with this Lawyer
I posted a series of questions for Tristan in a family law matter before moving forward with hiring him, after having an incredible phone consultation with him. He was direct, understanding, patient, honest, and as real with me in that moment. I specifically asked him a question if my fiancé shoul...
To whomever this may concern: You asked me a series of specific questions that I answered as directly, honestly, openly, etc. the best that I could to the best of my ability to the biggest extent possible with limited information that I had available at that particular moment in time. As a result, I stand by the answers that I provided you with. Yes, you and I did have an excellent initial, general, telephone consultation, and I was happy to have that with you, irrespective of length of time because I wanted you to be informed as much as possible at that particular moment in time. As a result, thank you for reflecting that accurately. I appreciate it. In light of your circumstances, you specifically asked me if you and your fiance could get married "now," amid other questions that you asked me, and I answered that you and your fiance could get married now or whenever you desired. As a result, this is an accurate reflection of our electronic mail (email) exchange. Because I desire to protect your privilege rights and your confidentiality rights, I will not elaborate further. In my direct answers to your specific questions, I answered your questions with answers that you must hear, not what you want to hear. As a result, as stated above, I stand by my direct answers to your specific questions, despite your disappointment. I did not make a mistake or any mistakes. If you would have liked and/or needed me to provide further clarification for you or further explanation for you, you could have asked me to do so, and I could have addressed your request for further clarification and/or further explanation as appropriate. Contrary to your belief, respectfully and kindly, I am a careful attorney who is very willing to see if I can help/assist members of my community, including yourself. Part of my willingness to see if I can help/assist members of my community, including yourself, is to give him, her, or them the reality through an objective lens in the most pleasant way possible, and that is what I did with you. I am very far from an arrogant, incompetent attorney. This is evidenced by the awards, honors, and recognition(s) that I have received over the course of my career so far, which I have worked incredibly hard for, and for which I am honored, grateful, thankful, and appreciative to receive, which reflects my tireless work for the members of my community. Although you and I are not compatible with respect to a professional attorney-client relationship, I wish you the best, just like you wished me the best. Take care, best wishes, and good luck with your case.

Disappointed in service
Took my visitation case i got what i ask for but in the paperwork he did a mistake with my kid name. I contacted him and ask if he can fix it. I have to hire him again so he can fix a mistake he did. I have paperwork that is not valid. I shouldnt paid him again for a mistake he did. For that experien...
Dear Karla: What mistake did I make concerning your child's name? Before I ever submitted anything to the court (for fax filing, or otherwise), you had an opportunity to read, review, and approve before I submitted anything to the court as I would provide you with that opportunity. You read, reviewed, and approved of anything and everything that I submitted to the court (for fax filing, or otherwise) prior to me actually submitting anything and/or everything to the court. Nonetheless, I am sorry that you are disappointed. Take care. Best wishes. Good luck.
