Based on my experience, dealing with the US Government vis-a-vis immigration issues is by no means fun. This is why it is of utmost importance to be represented by a lawyer and be comfortable with him/her.
My wife and I were lucky to meet Alisa and get to work with her. She was able to untangle the intricacies of immigration law for both. I believe a huge plus is the fact that she used to work for USCIS. Anyway, you will find not only a knowledgeable lawyer but also an honest friend. Thank you Alisa! Best wishes from Bogdan and Anca.

I am a former client of Alisa Kaufman for Asylum case. I came here six years ago and I was lucky to meet her through my friend who lives here. Alisa she is very honest and she is a extremely knowledgeable about the immigration issues. The reason why I am saying is because I talked with other lawyer who have been working as a lawyer for 30 years but I found that they are just trying to get the business so I decided to go with Alisa after comparing with two lawyer. But I found Alisa is more professional and honest so I did all my immigration case with her and my Asylum was approved. Now I am a green card holder. If you are looking for good lawyer, please, please seriously consider using Alisa's service and you will be pleased with her. Thank you

I strongly endorse this lawyer. i worked with Alisa for many years at U.S. INS in the San Francisco Asylum Office. She is a dedicated and caring attorney with special knowledge in the impact of criminal convictions on immigration cases.
