Michael was our lead investor's lawyer for a major fundraising in 2004 and I was so impressed with him that I hired him to be our company's lawyer.
Michael has the unique balance of legal knowledge complimented by business practicality - which has made him an indispensable part of our senior team and faciliated getting several major transactions completed over the past seven years.

Michael has been our lead corporate attorney at my last three startups. He's also the lead at several startups where I'm an advisor or close friends with the founder.
I've yet to meet a more solid all-around lawyer in the business. He's taken our companies from zero to acquisition, and been a partner all along the way. He's not only been excellent with general corporate matters, but also in complicated licensing and distribution deals. He's always been an advocate of the best interests of the company.
On top of all of this, he's just an all around great guy.
There is nobody else I recommend to startups I advise. You can stop your search for an attorney right here.
Megan Muir, Venture capital Attorney
Relationship: Opposing Counsel on matter
Michael and I worked on opposite sides of a convoluted transaction recently. He and a colleague on his team were able to resolve some very convoluted, intertwined legal and business issues and the deal came together in the end. He's talented as a lawyer and has great common sense.
