About me

Kasie has been recognized as an attorney of the highest legal ability and ethical standards, as rated by her peers and judges. She is a past deputy public defender of the Los Angeles County Public Defender's Office, the most established and largest government defender agency in the United States. There, she handled a number of complex criminal cases involving serious and violent felonies, and completed dozens of jury trials and thousands of evidentiary hearings.

Kasie currently runs a boutique law practice in San Francisco, California, focusing exclusively in the areas of criminal defense and juvenile delinquency. Chosen by a panel of San Francisco Superior Court judges, Kasie also serves on the Bar of San Francisco's Indigent Defense Panel and Juvenile Delinquency Appointments Panel, representing defendants in select criminal cases and minors in select delinquency cases who are not able to afford their own counsel.

Kasie trains other attorneys and criminal defense investigators throughout the state of California on the use of social networking sites and the internet in criminal defense investigation. She also speaks on the topic of juvenile delinquency on AM 1400, Sing Tao Chinese Radio, the largest Chinese radio broadcasting agency in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Kasie is the immediate past president of the Asian Pacific Public Defenders Association of the Greater Los Angeles.
