I hired The Simon Law Group and worked directly with attorney Eric Heath. My experience was distressing. I terminated their representation multiple times in writing and verbally. Despite this, Mr. Heath continued to assert that the firm represented me, even communicating with the insurance company af...ter my termination, without my authorization. I also made repeated requests for confirmation of my termination and to receive my case file, which were not responded to in a timely manner. I feel trapped in representation I no longer consent to, which delays my ability to resolve my legal matter independently. With my experience, the communication and professionalism are not in line with what I expected from legal counsel. I am currently taking formal steps through the appropriate legal channels to ensure my rights are protected. If you are seeking a responsive and transparent attorney-client relationship, I recommend you ask detailed questions about termination procedures before signing a contract.
