I try to keep active by training for marathons, hinking and camping. To give back to the community I have become involved with the local Boy Scout Troop and Cub Scout Pack. The Boy Scout outings are a great way to get away from it all and to see different parts of the landscape that I would not othewise go to see. Helping the younger boys in Cub Scouts learn new skills keeps me living in the moment.
I also try to give back to the area's rich agricultural heritage by attending Ag One Foundation events to raise scholarship money for California State University Fresno's School of Agricultural Sciences and Technology. Through these efforts I gain insight into the ag community's perspective, which is the back bone of our local economy.
