Saved my future

I was looking at 4 felony charges (one of which was a strike) for a harmless to others, suicidal moment. Jordan worked very hard on my case and wouldn't settle with the DA until he was able to get me a plea bargain of JUST ONE felony (wobbler) charge with the GUARANTEE of reducing it to a misdemeanor... if i were good on formal probation for a year. The year mark passed and we went to court expecting a quick, easy action on their promise--FAR from what happened. A new judge, a new assistant DA and a probation officer who interviewed me over the PHONE for 5 minutes (not my year long PO) decided they didn't want to go through with their promise and leave it a felony. It was too easy. After a long morning of a judge who didn't want to budge, he got tired of the games and threatened to get another judge and withdraw my plea. The only reason this judge didn't go against my PLEA BARGAIN was because Jordan knew his stuff and didn't give up. He obviously knows the law and cares about his clients. Thanks to Jordan I now live felony free after originally facing very large, unnecessary, felony charges!

Personable, Professional, and Talented

I am a college student at Cal Poly, and I was charged with possession of a fake ID (BP 25661). I was absolutely terrified of how it would impact my future, and realized I was going to need legal representation. I found Jordan on avvo.com, and due to his high ratings, decided to give him a call. I exp...lained my situation to him, and he agreed to represent me. He was also generous enough to lower his fee because I financially support myself. The day of my initial hearing was the first time I met Jordan. He could tell I was very upset, and assured me he would do everything he could to help me out, even joking with me to calm the nerves. Jordan talked me through every step of the process, and answered every question I had. I also appreciated how honest he was with me about my situation, because I always felt like I knew what was going on, and it showed that he'd had experience with this kind of case before. In the end, my misdemeanor charge was reduced to an infraction, and I walked away with a completely clear record. My license was suspended for a year, but I know that I won't have any issues finding a job in the future or passing a background check. Throughout my entire case, Jordan was professional, diligent, and also very outgoing and easy to talk to. I would absolutely recommend Jordan to anyone in my situation, and could not be more grateful for everything he has done for me.

Very high quality legal advice

My son was arrested in San Luis Obispo County and I live in another state. After reading reviews on the Avvo website, my husband and I decided to call Jordan Cunningham . We gave him the limited information we had and he stated he would try to get more details and get back to us the next day. Whe...n he got back to us, he was able to provide helpful facts about our son's situation, and made some recommendations about what we could do. Jordan was intelligent and knowledgeable as well as kind, understanding, and helpful. After talking to him we had a much greater understanding of our son's situation and could respond accordingly. Based on our experience, we would definitely recommend Jordan Cunningham.

Great Lawyer for Misdemeanor Crimes

Originally I was charged with having/using a fake id along with resisting arrest because (I tried to run away from the cops when my fake id was taken). When I first set out to find a lawyer for my case, their reputation was very important to me, but because I am also a college student, the price for ...the lawyer's services was equally important. Oddly enough, Jordan had one of the best, if not the best, ratings for a criminal defense attorney on Avvo, and when I contacted him and explained that I was a student paying for the laywer myself, he dropped his price to something reasonable that I could work with. He was very honest and transparent with me from the very beginning, telling me what kind of convictions he would try to get for me, and also telling me what convictions I would most likely end up with. When it was all said and done, I ended up being convicted of disturbing the peace and posession of an altered license as opposed to fake id and resisting arrest. These results are better than I think Jordan even expected himself and I couldn't be happier. Now, instead of doing jail time and paying a bunch in fines, I only have to do community service and pay a couple hundred dollars in fines. the whole process was a bit long a drawn out, but that cannot be blaimed on Jordan, and should be blaimed on our court system and their lack of care for relatively minor cases like mine. All in all, Jordan was very clear, and transparent and he communicated with me very well. I am very happy with the result of my case and would definately recomend hiring Jordan if you have any sort of alcohol related misdemeanor crime.

Worthy opponent

Jordan is an excellent trial attorney. He is a triple threat with his intelligence, drive and common sense. He is fair, effective and has earned respect from his colleagues and opponents. I have personally witnessed Jordan successfully argue and defend many types of cases with excellent results.
