I have lived, studied and supported agriculture my whole life. Coming from a family with deep roots in the Santa Maria Valley farming community,I was naturally drawn to the issues facing agricultural business in particular. This interest led me to pursue a degree from Cal Poly in agricultural business and enhance my legal education with experience working in various internships that exposed me to the legislative and regulatory enforcement side of agriculture. I am just as comfortable advocating for clients in the courtroom or hallways of Capitol Hill as I am walking through farm fields and pastures.
