Ms Farhat represented me in a real estate matter. I had previously hired another attorney, whom I felt did not have my best interest in mind. I then hired Ms Farhat and after the consultation, I felt very confident she would get the matter solved with the best possible results for me.
She was very accessible whenever I had questions or concerns. I was usually able to speak with her directly on the phone. Otherwise I would leave a message and she would return my call in a timely manner. She would always keep me informed as to the status of the case and forward any documents pertaining to the case by email.
She negotiated with the defendant's attorney and was able to reach an agreement without going to court. And the settlement she obtained was very satisfactory with me.
She was professional in every aspect of our attorney-client relationship. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for an attorney who is honest and trustworthy.

In 2011 I hired Dina Farhat to perform a chapter 13 Bankruptcy on my behalf. I was having wages garnished (25%) for failure to appear at a court proceeding. I received a judgement. Although I had previously settled the debt and provided documentation I failed to make it to court. My only option was to file or pay.
Dina took the case and immediately began to walk me through the process. We determined that I had the means to make full restitution and to fully discharge all debt. The first benefit was reducing my monthly outgoing expenses by $200 per month. Additionally, it was easier to make one payment per month. I also stopped being charged interest. Each time I had a challenge from a creditor Dina was available to help. Each phone call and text she responded to in a timely fashion. All my questions were answered. This was a great feeling to have the support you need when you don't know what you're doing. When I had to go to court to meet with the trustee she was right there and handled everything. The cost that we agreed upon were the only fees I paid. Dina became an advisor throughout the bankruptcy informing me of additional ways to restore my situation. We never missed s beat. Part way through the bancruptcy I was able to reduce $30,000 of my balance due to my disability rating increase, affording me the opportunity to reduce my monthly chapter 13 payment. Dina made sure it was taken care of. I continued to make substantial payments and was able to payoff $92,000 in 4.5 years. Furthermore, I built my credit while I was in the bankruptcy by secured credit cards; increasing the balance monthly and taking advantage of other opportunities to acquire credit. Dina provided me with status reports throughout this process for me to keep track of how much I had paid and how much I still owed. I used credit karma to rebuild my credit and my understanding of establishing credit again. I also was able to save money during this time. Upon receiving my trustees final report and account again she was timely. She reminded me when the credit class was due and that I needed to complete it. Towards the end of my bankruptcy the IRS sent me a notice of Levy freezing all of my accounts however, it was erroneous. I called Dina and in less than a half day they released the levies and all my accounts were restored. Thank you. I called again because I had not received my final report Dina found out why and again kept me on course. I received the final report and two weeks later I purchased a $45,000 car on my credit alone. I'm so jazzed. Finally last week the FTB contacted me about owing taxes for 3 tax years. I had already paid the priority and penalties and interest. They sent me a final notice before levy. I called Dina and she sent me a proof of claim that allowed me to dispute the tax levy. Both years were removed from my record and it was then that I decided to write this review.
Although it is long I felt the need to honor someone who helped me tremendously. I also recognize how vulnerable I was not knowing anything about the Bk process. Now I feel I've been educated, eliminate all debt in 4 years and am back on my feet in a better position than I was before. Dina is an attorney you can trust. She has my utmost recommendation. Thank you so much for leading my family through this ordeal. We are very much great full and in your debt.
