Never Trust this office

I had made an appointment two weeks prior since Bettina was out of the office, I called one and a half hour prior to my appointment to confirm since I had a 30 mile drive and I had to leave my business, they confirmed the appointment and I drove over, I got there, they had me fill out a form, 5 minut...es later, another attorney came out greeted me and told me that Battina was not available today she was in court.... I fumed of course because this was total disrespect to clients time, I am not sure what makes doctors and attorneys think that their time is more valuable than clients, on my way back, Battina called me to apologize stating that her office screws up sometimes and they should have known better...well if an attorney relies on such unreliable staff, it makes me wonder what other mistakes this staff would make when submitting important documents to the court which can make or break your case and then she would blame it on the staff and it becomes okay. Obviously this attorney is not hands on and office staff is totally unreliable. I had my hopes up for hiring this attorney after reading reviews, but I was extremely disappointed, this is certainly not someone I would trust with a complicated and extremely serious divorce.

Ms. S.N., I have had an opportunity to read your review on the experience you had with my firm and I apologize that you left frustrated. Customer satisfaction is of utmost importance to me. As you stated in your review, I did attempt to reach out to you to address your concerns. My office did schedule you an appointment, which they believed would not conflict with my Court Call this morning. Unfortunately, my hearing was delayed this morning, and that had a direct impact on my ability to meet with you as scheduled. I was in contact with my office this morning, but when you called at earlier in the morning to confirm, I had not yet known the true extent of my delay. When you arrived, per my normal office procedures, a client intake sheet was presented to you. You filled the sheet out and after approximately 5 minutes, one of my associates came out to greet you and attempted to explain the scheduling conflict that I unexpectedly encountered. He did not have an opportunity to say much prior to you leaving my office. I understand that you wanted to specifically meet with me, and that was not able to occur. I did have two other attorneys in the office who could have given you a free consultation, but you left prior to my associate having the chance to give you that option. I do my best to keep my commitments, but unfortunately, at times, unexpected delays do arise. My office did not intend to disrespect you or waste your time. My staff is an integral part of my business and they keep this office running when I am away. In speaking with you over the phone after you left, I in no way intended to put this on my staff. I take responsibility for your dissatisfaction. Whether it be myself, my staff, or an unexpected delay with a court appearance, I take responsibility even though I had no control over the delay in court. I am not trying to make excuses; I am just trying to explain to you what happened. That being said, I wanted to take the time to address your concerns. Should you wish to discuss anything further, please give me a call.

Thank you Yanez & Assoc!

When I hired this firm I was in the middle of a long and nasty divorce. My self-employed ex wasn't paying child support and I had minimal income. Ms. Yanez allowed me to make payments and she and her associates represented me powerfully, compassionately, ethically. I cannot say enough wonderful thi...ngs about this firm. I never felt as if I wasn't a 'big retainer client'. Her staff returns calls promptly and are very supportive, actually cheering for me the day I went to her office to pick up my first child support payment!

Amazing attorney!!!!

Betina is hands down the best family attorney in Orange County! I have hired 2 other attorney's in Orange County in the past and Betina was the first attorney that was not a push over and was all about me and understanding my needs. Her paralegals have always been there for me when I have had questio...ns or need answers. I was amazed with her knowledge her confidence in court that made me feel so much at ease and relaxed when I was in the court room in front of the judge. If I had to rate Betina 1-10 with her Law Firm, prepping my case for court and her performance in court I would have to give her a 10. Overall she is an amazing attorney with a seasoned and reliable staff.

Bettina Yanez is an excellent lawyer AND a wonderful person. Her and her staff made sure I was always kept abreast of everything that was going on with my case and eased my mind when I had concerns or pressing questions. She was especially mindful of my children's welfare and really spoke out to get ...them the best life. I would highly recommend her for any family law matters!
