Mr. Blevins is an experienced civil litigator whose practice focuses primarily on defending banks, mortgage lenders, loan servicers, and trustees in real estate and mortgage servicing litigation. He successfully defends disputes relating to the origination, servicing and modification of loans, as well as REO sales, code enforcement, re-development, forfeiture, and eminent domain. In addition, he prosecutes judicial foreclosure and post-foreclosure eviction matters. Mr. Blevins also provides guidance on RESPA, TILA, FCRA, FDCPA and HAMP matters. Mr. Blevins’ articles and commentary regarding legal issues facing the financial services industry have been published by DSNews, the Orange County Business Journal and the California Mortgage Bankers Association. Recently, Mr. Blevins was selected by Super Lawyers Magazine as a Southern California “Rising Star.” Mr. Blevins graduated with a B.A. from the University of California, at Santa Barbara and thereafter received his J.D. from the University of Arizona. While in law school, Mr. Blevins clerked for the Honorable Judge Jacqueline Marshall of the United States District Court of Arizona. Mr. Blevins is admitted to practice in all state, federal and bankruptcy courts in both California and Arizona.
