Jimbo

I had a case with Mr Green for many years. I like him as a person and i trusted him. But after 14 years i became very sceptical of all the things that happened. The biggest problem is communication with most of his clients. The problem i am having now is i left the country, and the covid is keepin...g me from getting to really push the firm to settle my case. I only talk to a legal assistant, and that is only by email, when he decides to answer my emails. It has been so long that no other attorney wants to handle the case. So i am basically stuck with them. Well, i have one attorney that might help me. Anyway, The legal assistant always has another reason to keep the case going. I am almost convinced that they want to keep it going. At first the legal assistant told me the rating and how much we could get if i just wait longer. I waited and now he is saying the settlement is much much less. I spend a big part of my life going to MRIs, exrays, doctor visits, evaluations, re-evaluations, depositions, etc. Now they still wont settle the case, and they keep me holding on to nothing. I am retired now and drawing social security and pension from my job. But i cant get them to settle the case. I guess i will have to get the other attorney to intervene and help with the case and pay an extra fee for that. Or i will have to complain to the board. I am very very disappointed in that group of people. I dont think anyone knows where the office is. Bill goes out to get clients and then you talk to people in some office somewhere. The mail goes to a post office. I thought Bill was a friend, but now i am wondering about all of them.

Mishandling of cases and not keeping the client informed

He came to my house on a friday night (in March 2013) when I called him. To me that was quite special for an attorney to be that prompt and responsive to my situation. We explained our situation and he said that our case sounded great and was willing to assist us. He made us sign the papers and re...ferred us to the Doctor for treatment. We completed treatment in September 2013. At about early October, we called Mr. Green's office to inquire as to what the next step would be - now that we had completed the sixth months' treatment. We were told that we would be contacted in a week. We never heard from Mr. Green's office. After 2 weeks we called again, we were told that we were going to be contacted in a week. On Nov. 2nd, I called and demanded to talk with Mr. Green and complained that we could not tolerate the non-transparency of the case any longer. The office receiptionist (female) told us to call on Monday through Friday and hanged up the phone on us. I called again and a man answered. The man listened to my complaints and put me on hold. He put Mr. Green on the phone. Mr. Green told me that he was travelling and away from the computer. And that when he returns to his office on a work day, he will look into my case and will give me the call. Yes, I agree with the prior posting to this one, that Mr. Green is not a responsible attorney. I'll give him one week to convince me that he is willing to continue handling my case properly. If he fails to do so, I will hand over my case to another attorney.
