I was stopped by LP in regards to a shoplifting charge. I was asked to return the items, the total was for $92, and I did. I was told to fill out 3 forms. one was saying not to come back to the store for 1 year, one was a list of the items, which ...
If the police were not called while you were there, you have nothing to worry about - this is because they would need to identify you to the police officers before they let you go. Consider yourself extremely lucky and stay away from that store.See question
What places does the Riverside Alternative Sentencing Program in Banning usually refer people to? I know about the Shelter and Equestrian in Norco, what about in Riverside or Mira Loma or Ontario?
If your work release commitment is in Riverside County, you will be required to serve it in that county. When you go to Banning to check in, they will assign you somewhere - hopefully as close to home as possible. Your best bet is to go to Banning and talk with a deputy there to find out the options - or talk to someone who has already gone through the process. The work options change all the time, there is not just a list that can be given to you right now.See question

It sounds like you are doing everything that can be done. You have an attorney working on the appeal and not giving up. Hopefully this will turn out like you hope. Good luck.See question

The short answer is yes. The FBI will still see it. Make sure you disclose and then explain that there was no conviction. You essentially have a clean record as is.See question
I received a driving with no license in California, now have to appear in front of a judge to plead guilty. I just found out I have a previous bench warrant in Illinois from a year ago. Will California judge see my Illinois warrant?
I completely agree with my colleagues. In California, your attorney can appear for you. That is what I would recommend.See question

Were there any witnesses? Make sure you request a police report so that you can provide it to your insurance. If there were witnesses, your insurance company should do the follow through for you so that they can determine who was actually at fault.See question

Why are you stressing out? Your case will not be filed. You are very lucky as the DA can still file a DUI charge even if you are under the magical .08 limitation. They apparently decided to give you a break, and your attorney may have played a part in that decision. Be thankful - you can't imagine the many problems this decision has saved you from.See question
I was dropped off by a designted driver I can't find the taxy company that drooped me off,But I have witness that heard and saw i was dropped off !
It is good that you have an attorney. Your attorney should have an investigator take a statement from your witness to provide to the solicitor - that way they can follow up on the information and talk with the witness themselves. If this does not solve the problem, then you have the right to request a jury trial - of course that has risks in itself. Listen to your attorney.See question

I didn't see the earlier post, but I suggest you speak with a local attorney. It is difficult to say what you are looking at without reading the reports and discussing this personally with you. Good luck.See question
Can a lawyer make the charge not valid for number of years passed since the charge first file
As long as they filed the case within the statute of limitations (which it sounds like they did), the fact that you never appeared on the case doesn't prevent them from moving forward with the prosecution. There may be other options to attack the passage of time, but you need to get an attorney asap.See question
