Pled guilty on my behalf even though I was reassured case would go to trial

Initially reached out to the law firm regarding a traffic violation and had a conversation with Scott, who provided a thorough explanation of the process. He also discussed the potential of going to trial if the officer didn't agree to reduce the speed. He was great at explaining the process and said... all the right things. Two days before the trial, attempted to contact Scott but did not receive a callback as promised by his assistant. Followed up the next day and finally spoke with Scott, where I reiterated my confidence in the incorrect speed clocking. Scott reaffirmed the possibility of trial if the officer didn't agree to a lesser plea. Despite these discussions, the following day, an attorney from Scott's firm opted to avoid my trial and entered a guilty plea, citing the avoidance of license suspension as her reasoning. This outcome was deeply disappointing, especially after multiple assurances that my case would proceed to trial. It's important to clarify that my disappointment does not stem from being charged for the offense; I understood that a guilty verdict was always a possibility. Rather, my disappointment lies in the firm's failure to follow through on their assurances of taking my case to trial. The possibility of entering a guilty plea to avoid a license suspension was NOT mentioned at all during our two calls. Based on this experience, I would not consider working with this firm in the future.

Not there for a current client in a time of need

Scott lost a case for me a year ago, as a favor, he offered to rep me for ticket I get in the future, at no cost. I called him the day before court for a speeding ticket, a court he would be in anyways. At first he said he would help me, then changed his mind, saying the outcome would most likely be ...bad so he has the choice to not accept the case. It felt like since he wouldn’t be making money, and it was difficult, I was not important. To me this is like a doctor saying there’s a chance you could die, so I’m not going to attempt to save you. Everyone needs all the help they can get during these times. Shame on you.

Couldn't ask for a better outcome ...

After I got my first speeding ticket in many years (California VC 22350, Speeding 60 MPH in 50 zone), I posted a question about my specific situation on AVVO. Scott was one of the first and few to respond to my question and offered his services. I spoke with him on the phone the next day and after ...reviewing the circumstances of my case, he explained to me in detail exactly what needed to be done and it made perfect sense. Scott is very friendly and easy to talk to. He took his time to explain the process and answer my questions. He seemed very knowledgeable about traffic law. While he didn't guarantee the outcome, he indicated that I had a good case and a favorable outcome was likely. He also presented a follow-up plan if the initial process didn't produce the desired outcome. But we never actually got to that point. I immediately signed up with him. He filed the necessary paperwork and appeared in court on my behalf and eventually had the case dismissed. He kept me in the loop while the case was in progress and promptly responded to all my subsequent email queries within a day. Overall a very positive and excellent customer service experience and obviously, the most favorable outcome one could expect. Scott's fee was very reasonable and was even lower than the cost of the fine plus traffic school if I were to go that route. Having Scott represent me saved me the hassle and aggravation of having to show up to court and be talked down to by a condescending judge. I've had to make court appearances for traffic violations in the past and I'm happy to skip the experience and spend my time more productively. It was great to have Scott on my side representing my case. If you get a traffic citation and live in Southern California, contact Scott. You have nothing to lose and a lot to gain. The initial consultation is free. The fee is very reasonable for the services provided and the customer service experience is excellent. Obviously, each case is different and others' outcomes may vary. But even if you don't get your case dismissed, often times traffic attorneys are able to negotiate a reduction in fine, or change from a moving violation to a non-moving violation. Walking into a courtroom on your own is like walking into a lion's den. The average person doesn't stand a chance. Call Scott and find out what your options are. He is very straight forward and will let you know what's possible. I hope I won't get another citation any time soon. But if I do, my first call would be to Scott. Highly recommended.

Simply Outstanding!

I have used Scott's legal services twice for traffic tickets. I must say he has more than impressed me with his professionalism from day one. His services are quite affordable and after my first consultation, he kept me up to date via email on all the developments from initial hearing to trial date a...nd eventually did his magic because my case was dismissed!! He has a keen eye on feedback and all my questions were promptly handled.I am more than grateful and would recommend anyone who wants to save money and avoid a point on their record.

UNEXPECTEDLY LUCK (S.T) DISMISSAL

Today and just an hour ago informed that we had granted a DISSMISSAL court charge for a speed ticket (65mph) given on fall /14 as of my son going to his school on a road of 50 MPH . We tried to push court dates to save some cash as ( dad got laid off) . We unexpectedly scheduled unexpectedly for ...a Court day one month ahead from the day set already ext month !!! It just happened that Mr .Scott informed one day only before and when he appeared in our behalf ,the officer did not show up !!! LUCKY HA ? !! So case Dissmissed Having said so ,with no doubt in mind and inside we acknowledge Mr.Scott to fight back&forth for us and Let us know every step of the way (call /emails) and was honest from the beginig about the success rate But we had that feelings in gut so why not try ? However , one should admits that all speed signs set there for us all to stay safe and enjoy life longer and be THANKFULL to this machine granted to is so NOT abusing it in any way ,right ? ((Whisper ; BE ULTIMATELY GOOD TO PARENTS AND GRANDPARENTS . They are behind the blessings that moves with generations , BELIVE IT ))
