My charges were Completely Dismissed

From the beginning, Karren made me feel that her and her staff were going to fight for me and make sure that my charges got dropped and that I would be completely exonerated from my federal case. I’ve always said that Karren was a gift from God. She answered every single phone call and email if I had... any concerns about my case. She even met with me in person when offices were to be closed due to Covid 19. I’m so grateful for Karren and all her efforts she put forth to get my charges dropped. Thank you once again KARREN!

Horrible advocate

I hired Karren Kenney to represent me and paid her a flat fee for her services. This fee was to cover everything up until the case goes to trial. As soon as Karren could not achieve a quick resolution to the case she started to put pressure on me to either accept to pay a ridiculous restitution amoun...t or pay her more to take the case to trial. To date I have paid her $14500 without resolution. I finally had to fire her and hire and pay another attorney another $6000 in hopes of getting this resolved. Besides this she is extremely rude and unprofessional when you contact her and at least 50% of the time she does not get back to you at all. Be smart stay away from Karren Kenney.

This client declined to accept the offer of DA diversion to get charges completely dismissed due to the restitution amount the victim claimed. When a victim claims a restitution amount, the DA diversion process requires the payment of restitution with no restitution hearing. When requested, the judge in charge of the case at that point in time refused to set a restitution hearing. When a civil attorney hired by the victim then threatened to sue the client, it complicated this matter even more. This civil attorney sought to settle the civil issue in conjunction with the restitution on the criminal case. In this type of situation, both parties have to agree to a "civil compromise" which the DA refused to agree to. Over 17 separate hearings on this case took place after the DA diversion for dismissal offer was rejected. There was a legitimate defense of "mutual combat" supported by the discovery, but the client did not want to go to trial.

Most Knowledgeable Criminal Attorney I have ever met!

I would like it to be known, Karren Kenney is the best criminal defense attorney I have ever met. I have worked in an office with over 13 attorneys which none of them were Criminal Defense. I did learn how attorneys work, and interact with their clients. I had got myself into trouble that should have... sent me to jail! Karren, with her knowledge kept me out, fought hard, and was extremely honest with me. Her and her team walked me through every step of the way and always responded right back to me when I needed to make contact. I would recommend her to everyone that needs a Criminal Defense Attorney! As I said, I had worked with attorneys for a long time. They did not engage with their clients as she does. I could not have made it through this situation without Karren and her team. Thank you Karren and team!

Fellow citizen

Took an item from kohls without realizing there was an item in hand. I gave it back but by than I was outside the build. They took me in for 15 dollar glasses even though I gave it back. My lawyer came to action and had my back. My case was dismissed because I gave the item back.

Great Communication and So Helpful!
