About Me:
I've learned much over the 40 years of career as a trial attorney. The last 20 plus years I've devoted exclusively to employment law, leveling the field for employees. I am a civil rights lawyer, representing persons fired, laid off, or demoted because of race, sex, sexual orientation, sexual identity, religion, age, medical leave use, disability, national origin and ethnicity. I also represent employees who "blow the whistle" at work and are fired or harassed for doing so. I also cover privacy and defamation issues arising out of employment. For currently employed workers, I review and advise regarding severance agreements, employment agreements, and "trade secret & confidentiality agreements," including those that wrongly restrict the right to compete and find re-employment. I also sue for unpaid wages, bonuses and commissions, as well as meal and rest break violations.
I graduated from ABA approved University of San Diego School of Law, and was a published member of the school's Law Review. After law school, I completed a two year Executive MBA program at the UCLA Anderson Graduate School of Management.
I am an active member of the Orange County Bar Asssociation, Labor and Employment Law Section, and am a past Chairperson of the Section. I am also a member of the California Labor and Employment Lawyers Association, dedicated to employee rights.
I understand and appreciate the role of business in society. I believe that every business should earn profits by playing according to the rules of law and basic decency. My passion is to be a top trial lawyer for employees, fighting to get to the truth, despite the objections and obsfucations of the defense.
Practice areas
I work within the gaps of the "at will" employment rule to find and use evidence that protects even so called "at will" employees from discriminatory or retaliatory firing.
27 years, 10,000 cases
Discrimination based on the protected categories of age, gender, race, national origin, disability, religion, marital status, use of pregnancy or medical leave, and other like categories.
27 years, 1,000 cases
I focus on justice in the workplace, and whether representing employers or employees, seek to identify the key issues and the best evidence that will produce the most clear and convincing picture of what occurred between the parties. I have litigated hundreds of employment law cases in the last 16 years, ranging from discrimination, harassment, retaliation, privacy, overtime, defamation, and a sundry other "wrongful termination" issues.
44 years, 10,000 cases
Up to date on "Me-Too" shifting standards of proof, and aware of the employer's failure to take prompt corrective action.
27 years, 1,000 cases
Severance Agreements, Non-Compete and Trade Secret Agreements, Employment Agreements, Employment Bonus, Stock and Benefit Agreements.
500 cases
Numerous Employment, Contract, and Real Estate Disputes from filing to trial and arbitration.

Relationship: Fellow lawyer in community
Frank is one of the most gifted plaintiffs' lawyers in Southern California and, by extension, the country. He knows practically everything there is to know about labor and employment litigation, and he cares passionately about his clients. I would trust him to counsel and represent my loved ones in an employment dispute, and in fact, I've gone to him for advice more than once for just that reason.
