Neil was amazing. He spoke with me about the merits of my case for almost an hour - without charging me. He was extremely knowledgeable about employment laws, statutes and discrimination at the workplace, more importantly for me, he was genuinely concerned about my situation... and offered me invaluable advice for taking my next steps. It's not often you get to talk with a top notch attorney who actually cares. I lucked out! Thank you again Neil!

I was having an issue with my employer making illegal deductions from my pay checks. I wanted to get my facts straight before confronting him. I also wanted to know what legal actions, if any, I could take. Mr. Pedersen contacted me via email and phone. I wasn't sure how this would go. (if I had to pay a fee for a phone call or if this was just going to be a formality to set up a meeting.) Well, Mr. Pedersen listened to my situation then advised me on appropriate courses of action. He also, which I thought was above and beyond, explained different actions my employer could take do to my actions. He wasn't rushed at all on the phone and answered every question I had. He made me feel really confident and comfortable moving forward. If I do, and I hope I don't, need to hire an attorney in the future for my situation THIS IS MY GUY! A++++ all the way. Thank you Neil!

I asked Neil about my problem with my employment. I suggested I'd had been violate that I thought I was covered by a Federal Law that places people over age 40 into a protected age group. He agreed and gave me good information about age discrimination. Neil is one of the best and if one needs a really good lawyer then contact him with your concerns. Do worry, he will not charge you for an email or two. And he gives really good info. Neil would make anybody a great counselor.

I asked a question on this forum. Mr. Pedersen answered within 30 minutes. I wanted confirmation on his opinion and decided to do further research on my own. Using words from his response I was quickly able to do google searches that led me to the laws on which his advice is based. I read the actual laws myself and found that my understanding of the law perfectly matches his advice. Thank you Mr. Pedersen!

My divorce attorney of about 5 years ago put a lien for $50k on my property at the time of signing contract with her even though she got $20k as retainer. During the first couple months she billed me for more than $50,000 for basic paper work and after she got all the money, she filed a motion to withdraw my case. I stared all over again with another lawyer but she never took the lien off my property and was demanding more money to remove the lien. I was so desperate and didn't know what to do until I posted my question in AVVO and Mr. Pedersen was one the attorneys who responded to my question. Mr. Pederson is simply a “great” attorney. Thank you for your honesty, detail research, knowledge, and kindness. I had discussed my case with several lawyers before meeting Mr. Pedersen. I was given conflicting information and unbelievable estimate of cost and demand for a large retainer. I was so lucky to post my question here on AVVO and get a sensible answer from Mr. Pedersen. The response gave me a feeling that this attorney knows his work. After my phone conversation I felt so comfortable with his explanation, steps forward, expected result, and cost. It all turned out like a written book. Mr. Pederson took the case to the end better than I ever expected. The success has definitely to do with his thorough research and well written response to the opposing attorney. I was pleased to see an attorney is not just producing papers and running up bills rather charging a reasonable fee for an honest and effective work. Now the lien has been taken off my house and I am in the process of refinancing it. Thank you for excellent experience. You are my attorney for the rest of my life.
