I have read the reviews here and hen decided to work with Mr. Yekrangi, which worked kind of misleading for me instead of being informational. The first day I paid his retainer and after two weeks I've received an email from his paralegal that i have to fill out lengthy forms and provide lengthy info...rmation plus an extra fee for the filing. If I have supposed to do all these work and would have time to fill out these questionnaire why I had to pay Mr. Yekrangi and hire him for what? At the end he took the half of the retainer and charged me $750 just for two emails of his paralegal. I have learned in a negative way that I can't trust some reviews.

I cannot thank Ashkan and his team enough for what they did for me, you cannot find a lawyer like him!! I would not have got my green card this quickly without his help, it is clear that he is in this to help people and this is more than just a job to him. To provide context, my green card was declin...ed due to not showing up for the interview - I actually never received the letter and this was lost in the mail. Ashkan responded to me straight away, after work hours when I was extremely stressed. He answered all my questions and saw me and my husband immediately. He reopened my case in a month, without having to go through with the I-290B that can take up to a year. I got my green card interview shortly after and now I have my permanent residence!! I went to Ashkan with some questions related to Re-entry permit. I scheduled the initial consultation for approx. $100 (if I remember) and we started from there. I sent out some background to him before the call and as the call was approaching his assistant reached out to me to say that due to calls ...that Ashkan had scheduled, he needs some more time to read and prep for consult and asked me if we can move it half hour later to give him time to get prepared and understand my questions. I thought this was very professional and showed he cares and he wanted to prep himself so I would get the best use of my time. I really appreciated that. Consultation was great. I get all my questions answered. He said just to follow up with any questions in our previous email chain I sent the background in. Every follow up question I had in span of 4 months was answered! Within 24 hours turnaround. I was not asked for any additional charges and I never felt unwelcomed. Sometimes I read other lawyers responses to questions on this website which can translate into "please call my office, schedule $150 consultation and then we can talk" vs welcoming service of Ashkan. THIS IS EXCEPTIONAL and I would recommend to anyone!

Before I met Ashkan, I had consulted with a couple of other lawyers regarding my I-751 (removal of conditions for green card). Most were cagey with their replies even when I paid for the initial consult. The first meeting with Ashkan left me with no doubt that I needed to hire him. He and his team we...re absolutely brilliant throughout the process. He not only gave me excellent legal advice, but during times of great distress also acted on a personal level and helped steady my nerves. He and his team were extremely patient with me and answered all my dumb questions. My petition got approved in less than half the average time it usually takes for these things.
