Probate

Scott was an excellent lawyer in my probate case. The case started simple but turned complicated and Scott was there all the way. In the courtroom Scott is extremely confident and made me feel very comfortable during very difficult time. I would recommend Scott to anyone needing assistance in prob...ate

Providing hope where there was none.

Mr Grossman believed in me when I refused to believe that justice would prevail. Having only the word of a homeless stranger, no money to offer, he accepted my case and believes my story of a greedy brother wanting it all. Now gone the documents proving my claim stolden. Along with legal trickery ...and manipultion what is rightfully mine being sold and me being dismissed by my older brother, whom is already well off, I had all but given up after the death of my mother. We were very close and besides my brother the only family I had. I was a step away from ending my life. After a matter of days I found myself homeless, with out transportation, phone, even food. Overnight what my mom planned for years to make sure exactly this situation would never happen ,happened. All because we both trusted my older brother not to take advantage and split all belongings 50/50. He wanted 100. Had me kicked outta my moms home the next day. Told me the wrong funeral date, though I managed to make it anyway. Throws away everything he couldn't sell without even asking me anything. Ignore my multipul attempts to leave me a contact number, address, anyway of reaching him. Mr Grossmen gave me a reason to live when all I wanted to do was die. Now over 400 days have passed since my mom died. Finally my brother has been ordered to produce the trust documents, I once had, and an accounting of the accents. First time in a long time my brother contacted me on Facebook. He wants to make me a deal!! I want him to go to jail for what he has put me through. And my moms ashes. The money isn't my goal, though it would be nice not being cold, hungry and tired, I just want things to be as my mom wanted the to be. That and justice! I'll leave that to the expertise of Mr. Grossman! Oh yeah, I still haven't returned my brothers texted yet. See how he likes waiting for the empty ring of my phone. But I'm still cold.

Knowledgeable probate attorney

I am a Los Angeles attorney handling a probate matter. I consulted Scott, because I had a question about the matter, and I do not usually handle probate matters. He replied promptly and was helpful. I enjoyed my experience with him.

Spousal Property Petition

My husband died with almost as many debts as he had assets. I wanted my kids to get something from their father's estate, and was at a loss of where to begin. After being railroaded and shanghaied by 2 other probate attorneys, both of who failed to mention that a spousal property petition was an op...tion for me, I ran across Scott Grossman's Law Firm. I had my doubts that he too would be just another "ambulance chaser" attorney only interested in the money they would make on a probate case, even if I ended up with nothing. On our first consultation, he recommended I do some research, obtain a few necessary documents and get back with him in a week. I did what he suggested and our second consultation proved to be even better news than the first. After running some numbers, Scott felt that the spousal property petition was the better way to go for us. He was the only attorney (and there were several) I spoke with that wasn't interested in the money. He truly showed interest and concern in the possibilities of having something in my hand for my kids rather than taking my money and knowing we would end up with nothing. Not only did he encourage me to continue my fight with the debtors, but offered the assistance I needed to proceed with the initial filing on my own, with the understanding that he would be available when I needed his assistance further down the road. Truthfully, I was so impressed with his manner, knowledge, and willingness to help. They don't teach that in Law School!!! And they don't teach us (the general public) that dying without a trust, even if there is a will... it is an invitation to Probate 101. It's a scary and expensive ordeal to go through after having lost a loved one. The process is long and you can basically lose more than you ever gain. (I'm not trying to put Scott out of a job) But if by chance you find yourself in a situation where you need a probate attorney, I would recommended giving Scott Grossman a call. You will be glad you did. Thank you Scott for renewing my faith in attorney's.... (some attorney's)!!!!
