I used to defend Workers Comp insurance companies ... and hated it.
I have been active in Workers Compensation in Southern California since 1987, so I know the real doctors in this region (and the ones to avoid).
I turn down a lot of claims because I still handle my claims myself.
I passed an extra bar exam just in Workers Compensation laws and regulations, became a Certified Specialist in workers Compensation ... but certified specialists cost exactly the same as non-specialists, so definitely insist on hiring a specialist.
There is never a fee until your claim closes, and even when the fee is due it comes directly from the insurance company -- YOU NEVER EVER WRITE ME A CHECK.
I'll see you at Staples Center for the LA Kings games... GO KINGS, GO!

Ms. Wallace is very dedicated to her work fighting to protect the rights of injured workers. She has a complete understanding of the workers compensation system, is aggressive and is sympathetic to the needs of injured workers. From reading her answers on this site, it is clear to me that anyone that retains her has made an excellent attorney selection.
