My experience dealing with Mark

There is an old saying "people don't care how much you know, until they know how much you care Mark has a compassionate side of him that also put the emotional trauma of dealing with a bitter divorce into perspective, and his guidance lowered the stress and anxiety by great amounts. In addition, ...he is skilled, and has a keen eye on the little stuff that could have hurt me had he not seen the things that the layman would have overlooked. Although the decision on my marriage was not the best, my decision to hire Mark was the best decision I made to resolve the issues and get the divorce finalized and put to rest.

A Real Technician & Effective Adversary For High Conflict and Complex Cases

Mr. Gershenson was referred to me by esteemed but mostly retired counsel David Franklin, who described him as "a real technician". He has a cool demeanor and his blows are strategic and professional. My case had been derailed due to the actions or inaction of my two prior attorneys, and I had lost f...aith in the process. Mr. Gershenson restored my confidence as he rose to the challenge of initially being hired on a limited-scope basis. He wrote a sharp brief and won the day with one of the largest fee awards in Indio. He then subbed in for all purposes. He was very supportive while opposing counsel, tried to ride roughshod over me and railroad me with appalling legal misstatements. Mr. Gershenson is a no-nonsense, matter-of-fact and very effective adversary. He has what it takes to carry my highly contentious and complex case to the limit. I cannot say that about my prior attorneys.

Someone You Can Rely On

Mark Gershenson is a family law attorney in the Coachella Valley whom I highly recommend. I found that Mark was completely accessible and willing to answer any questions I had with regards to the dissolution process. He successfully challenged erroneous filings submitted to the court by opposing coun...sel both in writing to the court and in person before the judge. I found Mark always had complete understanding of every detail of my case and provided creative solutions to my concerns. As an example, he negotiated a financial settlement between myself, my ex-wife and her counsel which allowed us to avoid costly litigation. I am very excited to have been referred to Mark.

Do not hire this lawyer

Stay away from this person. Without hearing my side of the story he sided with my accuser and said the best i could hope for was admitting it and try to get a reduced penalty. I was not doing that and told him we were not a match. Then charged another $250 for having to answer the email about a mista...ke he made. Sent another sarcastic email to me the day before my hearing. A bad lawyer and a worse person.
