Second chaired a case involving a CHP officer that was rearended while acting as lead car in an oversized load haul. The pilot driver was the vehicle that hit him. Landstar was the company that organized the haul and hired the pilot driver. Landstar disputed responsibility for the pilot drivers conduct and also disputed that the accident caused the injuries that Client complained of.

Jury Verdict of $4,700,000 for Client
I was second chair during a suit involving Client that was struck by an SUV while working at an intersection. The vehicle that hit him had lost control following a collision in the intersection. Defendant claimed other car involved was at fault and primary cause of collision. Defendant also disputed severity of Clients injuries.
The lead counsel in the case, Michael Padilla, was named a Trial Attorney of the Year for 2010 as result of this case.
