I started the San Diego Immigration Law Office with two main goals. The first is to help the immigrant community, no matter where you come from or who you are, and to achieve their hopes of immigrating to the United States. The second is to educate the immigrant community in helping them understand their case and the steps needed to take in order to move forward. Education is power.
As an immigrant myself, I came to the United States from Oaxaca, Mexico at the age of eleven. I know what it feels like living in the United States without the opportunity and ability to have valid legal status. Fortunately, in 2012, I became a DACA recipient and my life has changed ever since. I long for the same positive changes for the lives of my clients.
I am also a volunteer attorney for Catholic Charities of San Diego, a non-profit that helps the immigrant community.
