I was given a 3 day notice by management, my roommates took the notice off the door and slide it under my bedroom door. I paid the rent that was due in the notice and late fee, but I still decided to quit, break my lease and move out ( I sent a 2 ...
More information is definitely required. Are you both on the lease? Were you on the lease and then your roommate was a sublessor? Did the original lease allow you to sublease? Did the landlord know about your roommate living there? What were the names on the 3 day notice? Did you pay or quit the premises within the 3 days?
Basically, there are a number of questions that need to be answered before an attorney can give you more substantive advice.See question

Talk to an attorney who specializes in tenants' rights. There are a handful in San Diego County. Ultimately, you'll have a decision to make about whether or not your apartment is habitable and whether it's inhabitable enough to break the lease or withhold rent.See question

I would recommend starting out with an attorney who is familiar with business law, commercial leases, and contract negotiations. I agree that an attorney will need to review all the documents before making a determination, but I hope those practice areas can steer you in the right direction.See question
I'm pro se and mediation has not been met along with me having a work conflict for our court date at the end of this month. His attorney is unwilling to change the date. Is all I need a written request with my reasons for needing a continuance?
I suggest that you file something with the Court before your trial date. If the Court is aware in a timely manner, they would be more likely to grant a continuance.
If you show up the day of and ask for a continuance, the court may view it as disrespecting the court's time.See question

I don't know how serious this guy is, but he is supposed to serve you with a summons if he does in fact sue you. Unfortunately, people do sometimes lie about a summons being served on a defendant and have another wrongfully sign a certificate of service. If you are afraid that he may be doing this, you could regularly check the relevant Court's website periodically to see if a case against you comes up.
In the meantime, I agree with counsel above who recommended that you take the issue up with Ebay first.See question

To extend upon the answer above. You could have a civil ceremony to make the marriage legal, in the event that the pastor will not sign the documents. You can still have a wedding at The Church in addition to the civil ceremony if that is your preference.See question
Hello! How are you? Hope you are doing well! I have a question—some people recorded my conversation with other people without my awareness or recognition (they did not ask me before and as they were recording). Later they wrote down...
I agree with counsel's response above. If the recording/transcription is indeed illegal, then your attorney should know to move to exclude the evidence in the event that you are formally charged for your "sins."See question
