Move Away for Professional Athlete

Case Conclusion Date: 12.17.2010

Practice Area: Child custody

Outcome: After proving that it was in the best interest of the minor child to live with Father, regardless of location of residence, Court agreed and granted Father’s move away request. Father now has primary child custody and receives child support.

Description: I represented Father in a contested dissolution. Father recently retired from professional football and wanted to move out of state with minor child. Mother adamantly opposed but was unable to provide a stable environment for the child on her own. Mother continuously provided false information to the Court, to which I successfully opposed in Father’s favor.
