I cant recommend Mark Deniz enough for helping me with my DUI case. DON’T THINK TWICE ON HIRING MARK ESPECIALLY if you are A VET! My case was very convoluted as the DA was trying to deny me my rights as a 1st-time offender VET with VA ratings. Mark from the very beginning was engaged and truly care...d about me personally and the outcome of my case. Lots of back and forth with the courts at all levels and Mark always kept me apprised of what was going on – over 2 yrs until final resolution and DISMISSAL of charges! And through all that he never asked me to pony up more cash for all the time and effort him and his staff spent on my case. I cant thank Mark and his staff enough, especially Alissa for getting me through this ordeal with the best possible outcome! Especially if you are a VET with VA ratings Mark is the expert lawyer in this area he is the guy you need.

After dealing with numerous attorney’s and not getting the results I needed, I found the Law Offices of Mark Deniz. Of course because of my past dealing with attorney’s and knowing my case was not an easy one to overturn, I was reluctant he would actually be able to help me with my case. After meet...ing with Mark, I felt he had my best interest in mind and would work hard to get me a great outcome. After the filing of Motions and my Declaration, I was always provided a copy so I knew what was going on in my case. I was always updated on the hearing dates and knew what the strategy would be. Mark represented me for my first and second DUI. In February of 2015 I was involved in a minor accident with a traffic sign and was arrest for DUI. Mark was able to set up the DMV hearing which they said I wasn't driving impaired and I was able to keep my license. Mark handled all the court proceedin...gs and I never had to show face. The outcome was wonderful in that I got a wet reckless instead of a full blown DUI. I received only a small fine and a 6 week DUI program with 3 years court probation. No extended DUI program, no community service. In March of 2017 I was involved in yet another accident but this time with another vehicle. The vehicles were eventually claimed to be totaled and the victim claimed minor injury. Said his shoulder hurt. The arresting officer recommended a felony DUI for this case. So, I have a second arrest while on probation, in an accident driving under the influence, with "injuries" not major. I was in a bad way. I called Mark and was panicking because I was looking at up to 7 years in prison for this mistake. Mark took on my case and was a big help, again. I did all the extra things he requested me to do to show the courts that I'm not a screw up alcoholic. We went to court a few times and finally received a decent offer/ plea that Mark was able to get set up. I received no jail time and 4 months house arrest instead. Plus, a minimal fine. I did receive the felony, but after I complete the 18 month multiple conviction program without getting in any trouble, I will get the charges reduced to a misdemeanor. YAY!!! It all worked out in the end because of Mark and his teams hard work. He is very honest, thorough, professional, great with communicating and answering questions. He knows his way around a courtroom and how to handle the DA and Prosecution. He is very affordable and is willing to work with you financially. I highly recommend him with any and all DUI cases. 2 October 2017, I looked in Yelp, Google, and Avvo website for the best Criminal Lawyer in San Diego. I found so many Lawyers; I read all of their reviews and background. I didn’t know who to go with and who will fight for my innocence, until I picked Mark Deniz because he has the best reviews and my... gut was telling me something about him. When I called Mark Deniz, he listened to my situation and he explained everything with detail. He is a professional, great listener, knowledgeable, and personable. I choose Mark Deniz because of his experience, knowledge, and he knows the procedures of the courts in San Diego because he was a prosecutor. Reading his background than I knew I needed to hired him, and I knew he will fight for me. I was being charged with a felony because of a Domestic Violence for an argument I had with my wife. The Police Officer charged me with a felony because I was seen as the aggressor. The Police Officer said, “In every call we receive for domestic violence, we always take someone”. Well that someone is me, and not the woman. Imaging how I felt when I was taking into custody, and viewed as an aggressor by the Police Officer after he saw my spouse hit me. My bail was higher than my spouse, I felt like my world ended because no one will believe a female hit a male. Police Officer didn’t believe me and took into custody. I didn’t know what to do because being charged a felony for a DV is not good for my career and future. Talking to Mark Deniz, he explained my situation and that he will fight for me to the end. It gave me comfort, but I was worried of the outcome even though Mark kept saying he will fight for me to the end. As time was getting close to court date in the middle of October 2017 my mind was going everywhere. Mark went to court in my behalf. I was home counting minutes and hours wondering the results. I thought by going to court I can explain my side, but Mark said he was going to take care of it, and he did. Mark called me to tell me I was not charged with anything, and he took care of everything. I had a big relief, and I was speechless, and didn’t know how to thank Mark. Thank GOD there are people like Mark Deniz who will clear things out and fight for innocence of people. Police Officers make their own judgment of what happened without being present. Mark Deniz and his assistant are professional, helpful, and ready to answer any questions. I am very happy for the job that Mark Deniz did, and he is very proactive.
