This review has been a long time coming, as my incident happened in July 2015. I was involved in a .20 DUI, with "hit and run" and a refusal. Was charged with felony DUI (first offense). After a couple days of speaking with very qualified attorneys, I selected Mark Deniz. Why? Honestly, it was becau...se of his personality. He was calming, yet firm and honest. Do I think I may have gotten the same results had I have selected the other attorney.....yes. As I’m sure you’ve noticed Mark Deniz’s reputation is immaculate regardless of what site you’re on. I am here to tell you that’s for excellent reason. As a client I could not be any happier with the outcome. I was a first time offender with a little over a .19 BAC (max limit is .08). The odds were ve...ry clearly against me. I was caught dead to rights for a high blood alcohol DUI. I’m a realist and assumed I was going to have the book thrown at me, do at least 4 days of jail time, eat a minimum $7-$10k fine, do 10-15 days of community service, and whatever other punitive measures there are for DUI. I knew I was caught dead to rights and wouldn’t have some miracle dismissal. Bottom line, I was guilty. So pragmatically my focus was finding someone to trust with my court appearances and leverage their negotiating power so I didn’t have the whole enchilada of punishments handed to me.
