Several months ago, I made a poor decision and drove when I should have called a cab. Mr. Casey is nothing short of a miracle worker. I was arrested for two DUI's but with Mr. Casey's help was able to get the charges reduced to a first offense. My Case was a challenge for many reasons and my BAC was a .13. Having a DUI and the looming consequences weighing on your mind is horribly stressful. It was my first DUI and I had no idea what to expect, what the process is and what punishments I would face. I met with several lawyers around sd and was unimpressed to say the least, but to be honest I didn't know... what to expect, I had never been in this position before. I booked a meeting with cole and he came in to meet me on a Saturday. I explained my unique circumstances and he listened intently and gave his opinion. He was the only lawyer I felt who was not only listening but trying to find a way to get me out of this. No detail was too small, he was engaged and passionate and made me feel confident that if there was a way to get me off he would find it. My unique DUI involved prescription drugs and alcohol and not only did Cole have experience defending people in my situation but he wanted to know if I was having troubles with it or if I had a problem. It was a small thing but it felt like he wanted to know I was in a good place mentally and emotionally even before he took a dollar.
