I did a lot of research before selecting Cole as my DUI attorney. Met with 7 attorneys before selecting him. I immediately like his direct, no non-sense approach to my case as well as his absolute candor with me about the reality of my situation. My DUI arrest was no fairy tale, Reckless Driving, ...DUI at a .17 BAC, you get the idea. He helped me to understand my options and make the most intelligent decisions at each step of my case. Cole's courtroom prowess is nothing short of amazing. He destroyed the city attorney's case in court, I was almost embarrassed for the city attorneys office after the fact. Result: Case Dismissed..... The moral of this story: Don't drink and drive, ever, ever, ever. You do not want this kind of heat on you. Not only is it stupid, but also the constitution almost doesn't apply to you if you do once in the legal system. Learned a big lesson from my mistake, despite my incredible outcome thanks to Cole. Regret aside, I have gotten out of bed every morning since with a valid drivers license, no criminal record and driven to work watching the guys in the orange jump suits picking up trash along the road-side saying to myself "Thank God for Cole Casey"!

I would never recommend this attorney. Took $7500 and set a trial. At the court house waiting for the judge he told me I didn't have a chance based upon my case and he can't do anything and that I should just plead guilty. He offered to go back to court in 2 1/2 years to ask for the probation to be... reduced from 5 to 2 1/2 years. He could have told me this before. No compassion, not trustworthy. Wouldn't buy a used car from him.

I did my homework on DUI attorneys and am glad I did. I hired Cole Casey, and paid a few dollars more than it seemed everyone else charged, but I had a very good feeling about Cole and his firm. The firm seemed very "legitimate" from the first time I spoke with Matt, one of Cole's lawyers. He had bee...n referred by several other lawyers that I know. All I can say is thank God I went with him and stayed clear of all the bargain basement lawyers, especially those that sent me their BS in the mail. My case was dismissed in January of 2010. 100% gone. The DMV tried to suspend my license and Cole and Matt prevented that from happening too. Cole's reputation is outstanding and I see why...it is well deserved. One funny thing is that after I hired him, 2 of the other lawyers I had interviewed each called me to follow up and see who I hired. I told them Cole and they BOTH said "well, he IS the best" and told me that Cole is who THEY would hire if they were in DUI trouble. (I wonder why they didn't tell me that from the beginning ??) Do your homework people. When you ask around, especially if you have friends in the legal field, they will almost always direct you to Cole's firm, and they should. Excellent, excellent attorney.
