I think there needs to be more than 5 stars. Kelli is who you want on your side. She is your advocate, and she rocks in trial! There are not enough words to describe her passion to fight for you and your family. Kelli is exceptionally knowledgeable. She retains information and understands law. My case was a very high conflict, contentious move away attempt. After multiple days in trial and a case that spanned over 1.5 years, the move away was denied as well as other frivolous motions brought on by opposing party. Additionally, I was awarded a large attorney fee award. Kelli is in your corner and will fight for you relentlessly. Outside of family law matters, I've only had to hire an attorney once before. I didn't know what to expect going into this because I received such mediocre service from him, but Kelli showed me what real litigation and advocacy was.

I was referred to Kelli Blackburn by another law office due to her expertise, professionalism and record as an extremely accomplished litigator. I was not disappointed. In fact, I will be retaining Kelli in all of my future legal requirements. My case involved the request for a new stipulation to adjust my original divorce declaration, specifically parental custody periods, child support agreement and potential school relocation for my two children. I approached Kelli after having a not so great experience with my lawyer in a custody proceeding for my 2 year old son. A custody hearing can be very emotional as it is your life and your child's life that is being decided on. I felt a distaste for her industry as I was not given the customer service I felt I deserved and thought maybe this is all just black and white and not personal. Well it is and family law specifically seems to be very "unfair" at times but it does not mean that you cannot have a lawyer that is going to take the time to understand you, what you want, and develop a relationship with you. From my 30 minute conversation with Kelli I feel she understands me more and was more honest with me than the 6 months I was working with my prior lawyer. I am not a client of Kelli's yet, however, if and when I need her services I will be excited to work with her.

Attorney Kelli Blackburn is beyond amazing! She represented my 12 year old daughter on a restraining order case against her stepmom. A very stressful and hurtful situation for my daughter. After firing my daughters previous lawyer the night before my daughters hearing we contacted Kelli we had a consult over the phone and right away I knew I could trust my daughters case to her. She took the time to read my daughters case and took her case. She Represented my daughter the next morning requested a continuance. She wanted to hear everything from my daughter she was so sweet she really made it stress free for her. Simply put Kelli is fantastic and wonderful. She became my attorney when I chose to give a call on a whim to the Curran Law Firm. She never told me what I wanted to hear, she told me the truth. I was not an easy client to deal with but that did not stop her work ethic and she always looked out for my best interest. Hands down she has always delivered what I thought was close to impossible and I got quite frankly a deal of the century in a mess of a felony criminal case that got compounded with additional charges over time but she managed to negotiate things down from a 2 year split sentence to either drug court or a year in a residential treatment program. I was referred to Kelli by a friend after my daughter's mom filed a false TRO because I wouldn't let her move to Houston with my daughter since we have joint custody. From the first phone call I had with Kelli after she reviewed the phony TRO I knew that I was in good hands. She gave me my instructions on what she needed from me and also let me know our plan of attack. She also knew how important it was for me to clear my name and get my daughter back! The results of that hard work and strategy paid off as the opposing council opted to settle this out of court the day before the hearing and I was able to get my daughter back thanks to Kelli! She is very aggressive, will fight hard for you and very easy to communicate and talk with.
