We found David on Avvo and we are glad we did. My daughter is a juvinile and was falsly accused of a theft. As such the police tried to charge my daughter. Even though she was innocent I felt I needed to have good representation to guide us through this mess. David did so with flying colors, the ...case is closed, no charges and his fee was very reasonable. It was a flat fee, but he worked until we were happy and the case was settled in our favor.

David is an incredible lawyer who is always there when you need him. Even the city attorney Teri Winbush says he is an 'awesome' lawyer- high praise coming from the city attorney. I faced a misdemeanor charge for fake i.d. and a MIC for underage drinking which was a big deal due to me being an immig...rant in the country. David kept me informed and always let me know what he was doing at all times and clearly set out a plan on how he would reduce the charges. In the end not only did David get the case completely dismissed but also completely clear from my record so nothing shows up whatsoever - not even that the case was dismissed. Which is a great achievement and a lot more than i expected. This guy is incredible and whatever people stereotypically think about lawyers David goes against this and is absolutely brilliant at what he does. Top Class. Highly Recommended

I had a domestic violence felony charge when a year ago when i ws going through some hard times...although still on felony probation, Mr. Shapiro saw a changed man in me and brought my case in front of the judge against a tuff and disapproving D.A. and fought for me to have the felony knocked down to... a misdameanor along with being placed on summary probation. He is not only extremely competent, but he actually cares about his clients and helps his clients get through their tough times. I went in there with little hope and feeling like i would never find a good job, and left his office with feelings of hope and a sense of serenity. i would highly recommend David Shapiro for any legal matters one might have!

My son was accused of a crime he did not commit. We interviewed several attorneys before deciding on David. He has always made us feel comfortable and been readily available. No matter what direction we were taking he kept us informed and went out of his way to do the best for us. We made payments to... his office, he was very flexible, which made this process so much easier. With his hard work my son got into a program ( Sort of a probation without a plea) (he has to do some community work and take a class, both of which is good for him anyway) we were so happy about the program because he didn't qualify for it, since the charge was a felony but the case after 6 months will be dismissed without a plea. (we will return to probation with proof of service, go to court and then the charges will be dismissed) My son will be as though he never had a charge against him. We couldn't be happier.

David was a referal to me originally after recieving an unfortunate DUI. Regardless that David did in fact get my DUI case "dismissed", I would of still given this same review regardless of the outcome because David is an A+ attorney. I was most impressed with David's excellent form and way of speak...ing to the judge.
