The bail bondsman likely has a contract with you in place. If you do not paid the bondsman they likely will eventually head to court to recover fees.

  • What happens at an arraiagnment after I already posted bail?

I was arrested a month ago and have an arraignment this week. I was told it is all about bail. I already posted bail a day after my arrest though. Is this where they put restrictions on you?

    Mark’s Answer

An arraignment is where you are informed of the charges against you. Normally, people enter not guilty pleas that kicks off the process. The judge will also address bail, which may consist of conditions placed on you by the court. The facts of your case usually determines what conditions the judge may consider.

    Mark’s Answer

You have 10 days to set an APS hearing. In a perfect world you would have an attorney handling this for you. Your first step is to contact an attorney on Avvo. Your first hurdle is to try to obtain a set aside on the DMV side then avoid a DUI on the court side.
