Joseph Casas is the firm’s Managing Partner and Chief Litigator. He is a bilingual lawyer and business advisor with a diverse background and experience founded upon his service as an infantryman in the U.S. Marine Corps and a J.A.G. officer in the U.S. Navy.
Joseph’s experience includes corporate law, bankruptcy law, immigration, energy law, and the defense and prosecution of complex matters including image infringement cases, business and commercial torts, personal injury, contractual disputes, fraud, and securities claims.
Joseph maintains an active military law practice. He has represents service members before courts-martial and administrative separation boards and has a track record of success with a 95%+ acquittal and retention rate.
Joseph has appeared as a commentator/expert on television to discuss legal issues. His most noteworthy appearances include shows such as CNN’s “The Situation Room” with Wolf Blitzer, Fox News Channel’s “The O’Reilly Factor”, and MSNBC’s “Hardball” with Chris Matthews.
In addition to his legal/business career, Joseph has taught law courses as an Adjunct Professor of Law at Thomas Jefferson School of Law and as an instructor at the University of California, San Diego.
He is a past-chairman of the San Diego County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and has received awards and recognition such as San Diego Metropolitan’s “40 Under 40” and San Diego Magazine’s “The Powers To Be.”
