Dan Gilleon is Trustworthy and Diligent

After our car accident, my husband and I were overwhelmed with everything. We had so many questions and no answers. A friend suggested meeting with Dan Gilleon. Dan not only answered our questions, he also helped us understand all the legal issues. He was kind and caring, always keeping us informed ...and up to date with developments. Dan and his team worked diligently fighting for our rights and making sure we were protected. Dan is trustworthy and compassionate. I don’t know what I would have done without him. I recommend Dan and his team without hesitation.

Recommended that I get another attorney

A business acquaintance recommended Dan Gilleon to me. I met with him and agreed to sign a contract for a personal injury case involving a car accident. In my opinion, Mr. Gilleon's law firm seemed to lose interest in my case after the initial contract signing. My emails and calls weren't always retu...rned in a timely manner and I felt that important details about the case were not always relayed properly to me. When a settlement offer did come in, it was low and Mr. Gilleon called me to say that my case would probably have to go to court. Inexplicably, I received a letter from him soon after that and the letter said that my files would be sent back to me and that I would need to find another lawyer. I did, and that lawyer settled my case to my satisfaction without ever going to court.

Let me first say that I'm happy things worked out for Lisa after our relationship ended. This case stemmed from an accident in Big Bear. My wife and I knew Lisa from a business arrangement involving our cabin in Big Bear, and I agreed to assist her with this case. I used to defend auto cases for insurance companies, including the one here, and the two most important factors in our decisions to settle were 1) was the plaintiff a good witness and 2) was the plaintiff's attorney willing and able to try the case. When the insurance company sees a soft tissue case being handled by an attorney out of county, they will assume the attorney is not exactly relishing the thought of trying the case. Also, the added travel costs make trying a small case all the more financially infeasible. Lisa is a very nice lady. I wanted the insurance company to take her case seriously, which appears to have happened once she obtained an attorney located in Big Bear.
