I had domestic violence misdemeanor on my record and due to this I was unable to pass background check for new job opportunities. After of almost one year of unemployment I finally got a new job opportunity and received an offer from the company with the pre-condition of passing the background check.... However, once the company performed the background check this misdemeanor showed on my record and the offer was rescinded and given a week to clear my record or the offer will be completely revoked.
