I was charged with a domestic violence charge in Vista by a former girlfriend after I called the police asking for their help to remove her from my home. Although th...ere was no evidence of violence, she claimed that I had threatened her so the police charged me. In such cases it becomes a "he said/she said" situation and the police are obligated to charge someone when called. In most cases they side with the woman for safety and caution if the facts are unclear. They did so in this case even though I had called them for help. My arrest and pending prosecution was an extremely traumatic event for me. I was worried about my employment, reputation, financial losses, and physical safety. When I met Peter and he heard my story he immediately made me feel better by carefully explaining the legal process and possible outcomes and costs. He also never promised an outcome, but told me the probability that my case would be dismissed due to the circumstances and why things happened the way they did. He took the time to tell me who would be involved in the decisions, what would happen next, and what he would do on my behalf. He went out of his way to return every phone call himself, make every appearance himself, and charge me the lowest possible fees. I shopped around and some firms were charging more than double. Peter keeps a very lean staff, but don't let this fool you. He is one of the most professional lawyers I have ever met and I have dealt with many in my business life before.
