I was arrested for DUI. Peter won my DMV hearing, successfully getting DMV to set aside the suspension. I've been told it's very rare to win DMV hearings and I believe it. This was also huge as I depend on driving for work. Pursuant to the DMV decision he was able to argue for a plea deal down to a "...wet reckless." This was another major win since my fine was reduced by about $1,000, my probation period was reduced from 5 years to 3 years, and my license was left in good standing. He communicated very clearly and knowledgeably with me, all the time letting me know where my case stood. He's had my back through the entire process. Peter Liss is an amazing lawyer! My original lawyer passed away and I wanted representation for my final hearing and dismissal after taking PC1000. While my situation was very unusual, Peter did not hesitate to take my case and appear at my dissmal hearing. In addition to making sure my case was dism...issed, he requested that my initial charge be reduced to a misdemeanor as well as having the arrest record sealed and destroyed. All of which the judge did not want to grant because it was "getting dismissed anyways". I wanted these extra steps taken so it could not hinder my future job applications (as some background tests will show arrests). Peter reasoned with the judge and ensured that we got what we wanted. He listened to what I wanted as well as making further suggestions to benefit my future. I would reccommend Peter to any prospectee, as he is respectful, diligent, and cares about each case.
