I didn't hire Peter Liss when my college-age son got into a spot of trouble in the first week of school, resulting in a Minor in Consumption of Alcohol charge. I live out of state and was trying to figure out how to support my son and whether the Juvenile Court requirement that parents appeal with t...heir kid at their hearing would require me to fly to California. Peter kindly called me back promptly after my emailed inquiry, talked me out of hiring him (it would've cost more for his time than a plane ticket, and he wouldn't actually do anything other than sit with my son in my place), and instead helped me brainstorm the best way to handle the situation, including submitting a notarized statement explaining my absence and requesting a continuance if my presence was truly imperative. The hearing went exactly the way Peter described it, and my son is doing what he needs to do to fulfill the diversionary requirements and put this behind him. Peter's prompt and reassuring advice put my mind at ease and helped me figure out what I COULD do for my son with him so far away. Based on my brief interactions with him, I would certainly recommend him to others.

I recently got a DUI. and I blew a .12, which isn't terrible considering it was my first. However I hit another driver in the process (on the freeway mind you) totally wrecked his car and also injured the lone passenger. It was really scary, and automatically I was going to be convicted with a DUI F...elony. I was absolutely terrified because I had a clean record and now I was going to get a Felony! That's a stain that pretty much never can be expunged off your record. So I did my research and contacted around 8 different attorneys/legal firms in the San Diego County area. It wasn't an arm an a leg to retain him, and any time I needed him he was there (un-like the public defender I was assigned).

WOW what can I say. I am truly blown away on how Peter Liss got my charges dropped! I was with another lawyer that wanted more money mid case. I called Peter and it was the best call I ever made. Peter liss was very helpful,but never promised anything,i was there because I was sited for a Dui, his office mgr Ericka was so helpful saved me money always there when you needed her......on with the story...my lawyer saved me money and my license,these people don't make you feel like you are a cust...omer thank you both
