Peter Liss is an excellent criminal defense attorney and I would recommend him highly to anyone needing help in the Vista court system. I was charged with a domestic violence charge in Vista by a former girlfriend after I called the police asking for their help to remove her from my home. Although th...ere was no evidence of violence, she claimed that I had threatened her so the police charged me. In such cases it becomes a "he said/she said" situation and the police are obligated to charge someone when called. In most cases they side with the woman for safety and caution if the facts are unclear. They did so in this case even though I had called them for help. My arrest and pending prosecution was an extremely traumatic event for me. I was worried about my employment, reputation, financial losses, and physical safety.
