Tireless Advocate

Mr. Lounsbery is experienced and knowledgable in the area of Child Abuse Defense. He is affable and pleasant to work with. He worked many, many hours for a very reasonable fee. After reading the documentation that he'd sent to San Mateo County ahead of the Gomez Hearing, the lawyer for the cou...nty informed us that it had changed its finding from "Substantiated" to "Now Unfounded or Inconclusive." The hearing date was cancelled. This saved me money, because I had planned to pay expert witnesses to testify on the day of the hearing. This saved me time, because I did not have to wait until up to 30 days after the hearing to find the result. Of course, the system is capricious. Your results may vary. But Tate Lounsbery will make a tremendous effort on your behalf.

Should be hired for every CACI hearing

My dad, after 20 years of being dedicated foster father, was falsely accused of child abuse and was going to have his name listed on CACI (Child Abuse Central Index). Because we took this offense seriously we went searching for the right attorney. Unfortunately, DCSF will protect themselves by imme...diately siding with the child without proof of evidence or conducting appropriate investigations. When it comes to DCSF you are guilty until proven innocent. I called four attorney offices, Tate was the last one. The first attorney I spoke to was very rude and ill-mannered, he didn't know what the CACI hearing was but stated rudely that if I wanted him to represent my dad that there is a $500 retainer fee. The second office I spoke to, the receptionist didn't know what I was talking about in regards to the CACI hearing, stated that we would need to make an appointment with the attorney to see if she would take on the case, and there was a fee associated with it, but if we hired her, the consultation fee will apply towards the contract. The third attorney's office never returned my call. The fourth call I made was to Tate Lounsbery's office. I had left him a message and he called me back immediately. He spend the next two hours listening to me as I talked about my dad's allegations. He knew exactly what the CACI hearing was, he knew the hearing officer assigned to our case, because he defended multiple CACI cases with this hearing officer (and won). Tate was very empathetic. He took his time to listen to me, addressed my concerns, and explained the process from A to Z. He gave me all the scenarios, good and bad; told me what to expect, and how we should handle it. Tate was very attentive and compassionate, he understood the stress this was causing our family and he tried his best to be supportive. In the end Tate represented us with the CACI hearing and we won! He also represented us in a hearing against the State Licensing Board and we were able to resolve that as well. Hiring Tate was the best thing we did in this circumstance, and we hope to never be in this situation ever again. If you are on the fence to hire Tate for your CACI hearing, don't hesitate, he's by far the only one we spoke with who understood the process, knew the procedures, and provided us with the outcome that we wanted. Thank you Tate for everything you did to help clear my dad's name.

If you need a CACI lawyer, hire Tate Lounsbery. You won't be disappointed!

When my wife and I decided to become foster parents, we never envisioned a difficult path in front of us. Neither of us had been in trouble with the law and it seemed like a clear cut application process. That is, until we learned that I was placed on the CACI list without my knowledge on a case that... was already 25 years old. Better yet, this case didn't show up in any background check or FBI database at all. I was dumbfounded and didn't know how to appeal this situation. After reading about the law and learning about the case associated with me being listed, I knew what needed to be done - a CACI Grievance Hearing. I did some research and discovered that there weren't any lawyers in my area that knew anything about CACI or how to get my name removed from the list. Since this was a one-time shot, I had to pick the best representation. I "Googled" CACI Lawyers and Tate Lounsbery's Law Office was the top pick. At first, I was skeptical. Understanding how Google works and that companies can pay to be at the top of the list, I needed more information. I subscribed to Tate's blog and read all about him before deciding. He has a video series that is very educational and taught me a lot about the law and what we were about to do. Even then, it was a risk and I was scared. After discussing my case with him and finding out the details, I was nervous. Success rates for Grievance Hearings are not high. I needed the best and I needed someone who was an expert. After discussions via phone and email, I decided that Tate was the expert that we needed. He provided the upmost professionalism, was attentive to our needs and answered all of our questions. When the time came for my hearing, I was nervous. Tate did an excellent job at reassuring me and coaching me on how to testify. He represented me in the best possible light. We recently got word that we won our case! My name will officially be removed from the CACI list and we can continue to become foster parents. The road was not easy and it was very emotional and draining at times, but I am so glad that we chose Tate Lounsbery to represent us. I am not sure that we would have gotten the same results if we had went with a local lawyer. I whole-heartily recommend Tate Lounsbery as a qualified CACI criminal defense lawyer. He is the expert in the field and knows the law better than anybody we have talked to. He will treat you with respect and handle your case with the upmost professionalism possible.

A Job Well Done

Mr. Lounsbery was a Godsend! I was falsely accused of child abuse. This accusation jeopardized my career and the unity of my family. He was incredibly knowledgeable and thorough as he diligently worked through my case. He was always supportive and communicated with me regularly. He successfully defe...nded me at my grievance hearing which resulted in my name being removed from the CACI and changing the states initial substantiated findings. He knew which questions to ask and was very professional at all times! I owe him my future and my career.

Professional, effective and highly recommended

My wife and I hired Mr Lounsbery to help to get my name taken off the CACI. The case started because a few years back, a social services worker was at our house, for a reason that had nothing to do with our children, and was asking our son bated questions and made a big mess out of what was ultimate...ly nothing. We didn't even know that she had me on a list until a few years later when my wife and I tried to adopt and we were told about it. It was incredibly embarrassing and inaccurate for me to be on the list in the first place. We're very grateful and thankful for Mr Lounsbery's help to straighten things out and to finally get my name off the list. Highly recommended. Thank you!
