I called Attorney Lounsbery back sometime ago. He quoted me a price of 3,000 for a fixed rate/flat fee for 3 months of representation on my divorce and custody case on the phone and when I got down to his office he said the cost was 5,000. This was after he wrote up our contract. I came to him lat...e in the game and had a court appearance in a couple weeks. I told him my concern and he stated he did not raise the rate on me. I felt desperate and paid the 5,000 for 3 months. In my contract it was 1,000 a month for every month after the 3 month period.
