He was brought on my case by another attorney, Juan Alvarez. He told me that out of his 10 years of experience that my offer was the best deal I was ever going to get. Offer for a first time offense DUI injury with no priors was 1 year in county jail, 3 month DUI program, and 5 years of formal probat...ion while being convicted to a felony dui. In his words, it would take a miracle for me to get something better. I didn't find out about this offer until I went to court in November 2016, but the other attorney, Juan Alvarez, was well aware of this deal since October 2016 and did not tell me. Felt like Antonio was more of my DA, rather than my attorney. I asked him if there is anything we can do to bring down the charges. I asked for house arrest. He told me in his 10 years of experience that, that was the best deal I was going to get. He told me regardless, I am going to jail and it would take a miracle for a better deal than what I was offered. I felt like he did not care about my case at all. Waste of money for both these attorneys. When I did let him know that I no longer needed his services, he was very professional and polite about it unlike Juan Alvarez. I hired a new attorney who helped me and ended up being convicted for a misdemeanor dui inury with 3 years of Summary Probation, 18 month duo program, and 20days for house arrest. If I had continued my services with Juan Alvarez and Antonio Villegas, I would be in jail with a felony on my record.
