Solid, professional, aggressive representation for federal criminal defense case resulting in very favorable outcome

John Lueck provided a solid, professional, aggressive criminal defense for a federal court case spanning multiple years. Knowledgeable and on the ball, he dutifully kept me abreast of relevant happenings. Settlement resulted in no time served.

I thought my friend was buried...

A little less then a year ago my friend, in which is a downplay of her actual significance to me, got caught up in a really toxic, desperate situation. Being stubborn and strong willed to a fault she tried keeping it her own problem and resolving it herself. It was a misplaced consideration to everyo...ne who truly loved her and it continued in a crescendo until finally crashing down upon her in about the worst possible manner with charges levied against her that quite frankly I thought she stood no shot upon. Yes, there were questionable elements to how these charges came to be but context is tough to prove in court. What was on paper and in the DA's hands were pretty sure-fire. I'm not going to attenuate it, I thought there was a real chance my friend was NEVER going to get out. I figured with the sentence she was possibly facing, her spirits would deteriorate and the rest would follow, but Mr Lueck came through. He was good in handling all of us who were pretty overbearing and fraught with concern. He assured us he would continue to battle for her and he did. Did she get off scot-free, no, but again, with what the DA had, that would have been completely unrealistic to expect. She ended up with a sentence in which has allowed her, so long as she does right, which she has, the opportunity to be out before the end of this year. Even without qualifying for programs, eligibility of early release, the sentence as imposed on paper translated to something she could endure and still have a great life afterwards. A couple of years, where it very easily could have been a lifetime. Every day she is in there is hard and until she is released back to us, I'm somewhat unable to really let out a deep sigh of relief but there was a long stretch of the court process in which I felt that not only was this going to cost her life, but mine as well. When she does get released and I am again able to hug her I will think of Mr Lueck and be forever grateful for the moment and life he has made possible.
