I have had a difficult time with the management company of my condominium complex. Sometimes my statements don't reflect payments made. Sometimes I don't get my statements, and they are not always pleasant when I request that I get a copy emailed.
The latest conflict started off with their taping ...a demand notice on the 30 that I complete a task my the 24th. The management company had told me that they were going to replace that door 4 years before when the repairs to the unit above me were being completed. I had not contacted the management company as they are extremely difficult to deal with and not always competent as evidenced b the fact that they demanded that a task be completed 6 days before the notice was dated.
Wanting peace in my retirement and the threatening tone of their communication, I decided to hire a lawyer to communicate with them.
Ms. Guzman and her team have been wonderful. I was willing to have the door painted rather than replaced. Instead of my following up, Lidia in Ms. Guzman's office was relentless in following up, and after 5 months the door is now painted. Ms. Guzman and Lidia have consistently explained to them that they do have to supply me with accurate statements and my payments do have to be posted.
They keep me informed and keep my blood pressure in check.
I am so thankful that they represent me.
