Michael Raymond Daymude

Retained Mr. Daymude for help with a couple issues. He was highly responsive and took great care to fully understand the back ground issues and rendered very thoughtful and insightful comments. Would highly recommend him. Five stars, it speaks for itself.

Mr. Daymude, is very knowledgeable in the information he provides. Often times, I am overwhelmed with work so I use avvo for my mental peace and Mr. Daymude always takes the time to respond. While self learning law, I often come across information Mr. Daymude provided, for previous questions, concerns and complaints. It's attorneys like Mr. Daymude, who allow me to still have trust in attorneys, after some were dishonest.

Four attorneys replied to my inquiry and of them all, only Mr.Daymude replied with an in-depth response. In fact he replied twice! Instead of just tossing my concern in the trash with some generic reply, he re-read my question and again responded to me. I'm just bummed out that he doesn't have his practice closer to me so I can make use of this knowledgaeble man's expertise.

Oh, my goodness. I am so pleased I found Mr. Daymude. I am a court reporter, and believe you, me, he is not your "typical," everyday person in anybody's walk of life, legal or otherwise. He takes extraordinary pride in his work and really cares about the client and keeps in sight, and in mind, that the goal is to obtain an eventual good outcome for that client every step of the way. This man is relentless in his drive, ambition, dedication, and attention to detail. He will research case law backwards and forwards to make sure all bases are covered. His command of both the legalese and the English language is a form of art. I recently hired Mr. Daymude to represent me in filing motions under CCP 473(a) and 473(b) on my behalf to set aside terminating sanctions in a case I have for a personal injury. He not only expertly cleaned up what the offending attorney created, but he magically brought all my responses to the opposing counsels' requests within proper legal standards and substantial compliance of the law. Then he wrote the 473 motions under both (a) and (b) that are so complete and so comprehensibly and historically correct, that I couldn't have asked for anything more or better. I couldn't be more pleased with Mr. Daymude's work product and work ethic. Heaven knows, that this type of case is not something most attorneys want to take on, so I was very fortunate that Mr. Daymude agreed to take on my case. He is absolutely the BEST.

I was served a bogus lawsuit on Christmas Eve, in the spirit of the holidays Mr. Daymude helped me not make a irrational decision that would have costed me several hundred thousand dollars. Posters on Avvo need to remember excellent lawyers like Mr. Daymude cost $350-$500 per hour so be happy he was willing to even look at your question! I did hire a lawyer thank's to not only his but another Avvo lawyer. My lawyer said exactly what Mr. Daymude said, if Ray was near my house I would have hired him immediately because of his generous spirit and decades of experience!

He answered my Avvo question by noting I should put my home insurance into a condo association board dogfight I had been dragged into by a money-seeking son-of-an-owner in spite of the statute of limitations. And, (BEWARE), even with insurance while I was a board member for a few months ten years ago, the association's old insurance "declined" to defend me. I was feeling abandoned and a little desperate. (I'm old, handicapped--Stage 4 CKD, unemployed, fighting the big C, two kids in college, & a dying car.) My family, by golly, we're fighters just having a bad run of luck.) Whether he meant to save my bacon or not, he did. Thank you, Mr. Daymude. [Interesting pic you've got there!] P.S. I think we'll be using your services in the future even if you're not local. I did not have much luck with the last one that the lawyer referral agency (not Avvo) sent me to before I contacted you. He kept making mistakes and up-billing me for them. I had no time to replace him and was forced to pay or not respond in time.

I needed legal advice about how to handle the property and debt of a deceased family member, and Mr. Daymude responded quickly and was knowledgeable about how to address my situation. His advice was worth the consultation fee, since it saved me time and other unnecessary expenses.

I've known Michael Daymude for over a year. I hired him to represent my company & me against a lawsuit. Over time, I came to find his (apparent) lack of work both worrisome and distressing. In court, I argued more with him than opposing counsel. In my opinion... aside from filing, mailing, & faxing a few necessary court documents, his major focus seemed to be billing for his time. I wish I had hired with caution. UPDATE: (5-1-18) Mr. Daymude has sent me a letter threatening to sue me over the above review. I will continue to update this review as the case moves forward so as to assist anyone who may find themselves in a similar situation with Mr. Daymude.
