The person I talked with suggested this avenue. The preface on this case was, that if I had been returned to custody, I would have likely been stabbed, again. I have tattoos that reveal what yards I have been on, and since I was stabbed on July 3 2009, I was forced to be permanently delegated to an SNY yard. As lawyers familiar with the system, I know you know what that means. ANY, GP'er (General Population) prisoners are forced to attempt to stab any SNY prisoner, as a standing rule. Local city, or county jails, and all prisons are the same, it's "mando", if you don't stab them, you wind up getting stabbed, as I was. Brian had a difficult case with me. The California City Probation Dept., wanted desperately, to return me to custody, and found a typically meaningless opportunity to do so. To whom it may concern: I have made some mistakes, mistakes that had cost me my privilege of driving. I had 7 tickets in a couple of courtrooms. Trying to take care of them on my own was a nightmare. As a single father it is hard to get around do anything with out a licence, As i tried to take c...are of these items ( on the bus) i started falling behind, they began to snowball on me and then the real trouble began. I started looking at even more severe fines and the real possibility of time in jail, a long time, 1 and a half years over traffic tickets. I was against a wall, in my mind i had no options, i felt helpless like my whole world was at a end. No license , no car, limited employment ( due to lack of transportation) and a real risk of losing my kids all because of mistakes i made with driving violations. My life was over.
