Brian Burns-lawyer for Earl Carter firm
Brian Burns was a very good lawyer. You could tell that he knew what he was doing. When I called his office, his assistant would take a message and he would always get back to me. Because of this legal matter I had some trouble getting new employment and very quickly Mr. Burns wrote a letter for me to show the employer and better explain things. What really shined about Mr. Burns is that you could tell that he cared about you and had a heart. You never felt as though he was just shoving you through like a cow in a herd.

Problems with the law and need help. Look no further
I was going to court for a serious offense. I was looking at five years in prison so I called Earl Carter Association. I was appointed an attorney named William Cheney. He was amazing. Real honest man. He took that case as if it was his own life he was fighting for. Gave me advice and made sure I understood everything that was going on. At the end mr. Cheney got the DA to go from 5 years in prison to summary probation. I never thought that was possible but he did it. Thanks to him I can Continue living my life as a free man. I am very greatful for his hard honest work. I would refer him to anybody. And to top it off Earl Carter Association was the most reasonable pricing for my case. Other places were over priced n had the intentions of making money n not helping me stay out of jail. Thanks to Cheney I never seen a day behind bars. Thanks a million

Good guys
I was very happy with my choice. Price was affordable i didnt have a whole lot of money at the time so they worked a payment plan out for me. My attorney also did a good job for me he got a couple of my charges dismissed and the other charged reduced so i didn’t have to do any jail time. that is a happy outcome for me..

Grateful!
*Was charged with a Multiple Felony Case, and my Public Defender; although she was a nice lady, was not trying to get me the deal I would of liked..she stated that she tried and the D,A,. was willing to go to Trial...I could of not afforded Extensive prison Time...Received a Letter from this Firm, Called, was welcomed in and felt embraced, just by their consultation...I hired on, because the consultant was straight out with me, no Promises made, and no sale's pitch.then I met with Brian Burns and Sean Davitt...Confident and even had good personalities, is what made me feel comfortable. they managed to lower my charges, and I was able to stay away from Jail and even pay a reasonable Fine. I did not loose my Job, nor did I have to worry about Prison.

You get what you pay for
I think Earl Carter is in the pocket of the Rancho Sheriff's. They did nothing to help my case, which was an arrest in my driveway brought on by a community volunteer. I had to serve 10 days in jail and pay $2000, along with a 5150. Please don't make the mistake I did and hire Earl Carter.

Terrible Experience-DON'T GET AN ATTORNEY WHO SENDS OUT COUPONS
When I was charged with a DUI in Santa Clara County, I received a letter from these Felony chasers. Having no experience with lawyers at the time, I paid them in full to handle my case. The outcome from the entire process netted me the same results as those who had not retained any lawyers. The reason I can say this with certainty is because I talked with others in the work release program who were given the same punishments I was given, without any legal representation. For weeks I tried to contact Earl Carter Law, who stated that they would be able to help save my license from being suspended. No answer, hundreds of messages left on their machines, emails sent every week. The only response I received was when I threatened to report them to the Bar assc. for misrepresentation of their services. Even then did they help me? No. Did they talk me through this rough period of my life? No. Did they earn a single penny of the thousands of dollars I paid them? HELL NO.
Let this be a lesson to all potential customers of this firm. DON'T HIRE ATTORNEYS WHO SEND COUPONS IN THE MAIL.

I am grateful for this feedback as it allows me to address a couple issues for any prospective clients. First, every single case is unique, with a unique set of facts. Consequently, any criminal defense attorney will tell you that it is difficult to judge whether you got a good deal or a bad deal by comparing yourself to someone else with a totally unique case and a different district attorney prosecuting the case. We are very good at getting our clients the best deal possible under the circumstances, but there are no guarantees.
Second, my phones are answered by a live person, not a message machine, or voice mail machine, Monday through Friday from 8 to 5. We take pride in making ourselves very accessible to all of our clients in this way.
Third, I take any client concerns very seriously and I am happy to refund fees to any client who is not satisfied. I would have certainly offered the same to this client if they had contacted me. I have not spoken to this client, but if they will contact me, I will offer them a refund of their fees.
With all of that being said, we will take this as constructive feedback and continue to strive to improve.

I'm tired of wating, still no answer....
I was told I was facing a simple DUI by Earl Carter's attorneys. It was a first offense and they told me I would be taken care of. I felt relieved and paid them. I tried contacting them before my court date to follow up with no luck, I've emailed Mr. Carter multiple times with no responses.
No attorney ever showed up to my court date and I had to enter a plea on my own. I've been asking for a refund with no luck either. I signed a contract so legally I'm stuck. I hope this reaches Mr. Carter's potential customers before they sign anything.

We strive to offer superior service to every client. This includes answering client phone calls and email, promptly (the same day they are received). Even if we do not hear from our clients we write each of them before each court date and after each court date to keep them informed. Likewise, we most certainly appear for our clients in court.
I am not aware of the true identity of this reviewer, but If they are willing to contact me, they are welcome to a full refund of their fees. I make certain my clients are satisfied.
Nevertheless I appreciate any feedback, and we will use this review as feedback to assist us in our never ending effort to improve our customer service.
