Attorney Ruiz started college at age 17 and graduated from CSU, Los Angeles with honors and Dean's List recognition in 2000.  She graduated from Loyola Law School of Los Angleles in May of 2004 and passed the Bar exam in July of 2004.  During the last 15 years, she has gained experience in the fields of juvenile dependency and family law. 

Attorney Ruiz assists the families of the Los Angeles, San Bernardino, Orange and Riverside counties.  Initial consultations are $60.00 for the hour.  Attorney Ruiz focuses more on conflict resolution and not on litigation.  A vast majority of her clients remain In Pro Per while Attorney Ruiz provides limited scope representation such as general legal advice; legal research; drafting discovery plans; court and legal document preparation and settlement efforts.  

Attorney Ruiz also works as an independent contractor for other solo practitioners and small firms that need assistance with client intake, legal research, motion drafting, special appearances, and trial preparation.  In her spare time, she volunteers with the Arcadia Unified Schoo District.

    My attorney Ilene Aguilar was hired by me to to legally change my name back from my married name to my maiden name. She was very professional and assured me she would make it an easy process for me. I presented her with proof of divorce and I answered the pertinent questions required by her, she took care of filing the forms with the court and I soon received certification the change was now legal. I have and will continue to refer Ilene Aguilar Esq.., to those who need reliable, professional, legal assistance.

    I was referred to Ilene by my client and friend after having a previous lawyer that NEVER would get back to me in any shape way or form of phone calls and emails. I contacted Ilene with my child custody case and I had a LOT of questions and concerns. She answers all my questions and concerns beyond thoroughly. Ilene always responded and still responds to any questions I have in a superb timely manner. I felt like my case and I as a client were cared for in a genuinely manner.     Right's of a Mother

    My case was difficult, I felt my rights as a mother were being affected. My case involved Grandparent right's it was my deceased husbands mother fighting for my children. This wasn't an easy road... I found Attorney Ilene online and I took a chance. I couldn't be more happier of the out come. She told me my case was going to take time and it was going to be a fight. She was very very honest not leaving out any details and suggested to me information that could help me in the long run. When ever I needed her she was there, even on the weekends which just shows how much she cares. I am so thankful to her and her staff for all their hard work. As a mother you want the best for your children and will fight till the end especially when your children are in danger, and with the help of Attorney Ilene and H Bui Law Firm I did just that.     Ms. Aguilar was and continues to be helpful, considerate, attentive, sincere and trustworthy. She ensured all documents were complete and ensured appropriate filling. When I unexpectedly found myself as a single mother I realized I needed to ensure my child would be taken care if I passed. At my side, Ms. Aguilar helped me ensure my child would be taken care of by drafting my living trust. To this day I appreciate her professionalism and the safe environment she provided in her office.     I had already started the divorce process and needed someone to come and finish what I couldn't do. When I called Ilene she was able to fit me in during my lunch time. Which was great. Other lawyers that I called weren't doing that I had to fit around them. Not good for someone that works 8-5. She understood that I have a job and kids that need me and that my job was very demanding I loved that about her. She took my case and dug through the mess of paper work that I had and asked me what I wanted. Given the situation I was in she was able to help me finish my divorce that was on going for 4 years and she was able to get me divorced in my next court date. Thank you for that Ilene it was like the world was lifted off my shoulders. What I really liked about her was that she keep me informed and I keep her informed of the child custody and what I needed to keep track of not only that but any little thing I could do my self she would tell me so that I too was involved in my divorce.

    I've been working with Mrs. Aquilar for about a year now and words aren't enough to describe it. Any time I had questions or concerns about my child's case she always got back to me. She keeps me informed about our next step and explains what is going on at the time. My case is over now but my daughter safe and with me.We are truly grateful and happy to have her in our lives.To parents with concerns and issue.I believe she is the best one to represent you .
