Hit and Run....DISMISSED!

I was wrongfully being accused of a hit and run in the city of Santa Monica. The worst part is that I was being charged criminally for it! Zachary had the brilliant idea to file a motion for civil compromise, subpoena the alleged victim, and provide a cashier’s check to him. The DA was opposed to thi...s and filed her opposition. When we appeared in court I had my cashier’s check and the alleged victim was present. He wanted his money and I wanted to get the hell out of court and carry on with my life. Zachary provided documents to the Commissioner and DA indicating that I am fully employed and a full-time student. The DA could have cared less but you know what the best part was?! The commissioner stipulated to the motion for civil compromise, the victim was paid, and the case was dismissed. I have no criminal conviction thanks to Zachary and his team!

Provided security through knowledge and attention.

During the initial interview, he was very informative and straight forward. He was accommodating by traveling to meet us locally. He provided piece of mind by taking care of legalities wether big or small. Most recently, during an unexpected event, Zach was quick to respond to texts, e-mails and... calls. He did background research and was reassuring through his attention. During this stressful time, he provided us with security knowing that all bases were covered and addressed. We are grateful for his understanding and professionalism.

mislead

a 26yr old felony kept me from a firearm purchase and he told me it just needs to be expunged and all the "penalties and disabilities" will disappear and i'll be able to purchase a firearm. what he didnt say was it doesn't work. i could have cared less about the expungement and paying the fee to get ...it done. i just wanted my firearm rights restored

I got his felony conviction reduced to a misdemeanor and then expunged. I correctly advised him that under 1203.4 of the California Penal Code his guilty plea would be changed to a not guilty plea and he would be generally released from all penalties and disabilities of the conviction. This client wanted me to specifically advise him on how the expungement would affect his right to purchase a gun in Nevada and I repeatedly advised him to consult a Nevada attorney on this issue.

Not guilty of domestic violence!

Mr. Zack McCready is a great attorney. He kept me informed regularly of what was going on. He beat a domestic violence charge against me at a jury trial. I was very worried about getting convicted. He prepared for trial and showed me that he is a man of his word when it comes to fighting hard.
